I wanted to like this belt because it is simple and lightweight, but it is expensive for what you get and I think there are a couple of important problems with the design. First, the main purpose of a hydration belt is to hold your water. This belt comes with an insulated water bottle, but the bottle is a non-standard size so you have to use their bottle. The bottle is narrower at the bottom than at the top, which helps you push it into its pocket. Unfortunately, no other bottles that I tried (including Camelbak bicycle water bottles) will fit (either the bottles are too wide or they fall out too easily).Another problem is the single zippered pocket. The pocket will hold a phone up to about 6 inches tall. However, there is also a key ring in this pocket and I don’t want my keys banging against my phone. I wish there was a smaller zippered pocket away from the phone pocket for keys. There is an open pocket on the other side that I assume if for holding energy gels.The water bottle holds 17 ounces of water, which isn’t that much, but that is usually plenty for me on a 1 hour run. Camelbak makes much larger hydration packs for hikers or mountain bikers that work well, but I am glad that have a lightweight option for joggers and runners. I just wish it was a little more functional and more competitively priced. There are lots of other runner hydration belts on the market.

Great Running/ MTB Cycling hydration belt EXCEPT for 2 flaws.1. Water bottle holder is oddly shaped and can only be used with triangle bottle. You can* force squeeze a regular Camelbak Podium bottle but not one handed while riding.2. Side storage pocket is too small for most modern cell phones w cases(mine is Samsung Galaxy S10) and it won’t fit :/Other than that it’s a great water bottle belt for mountain biking.

I’ve never think CamelBak would come with a design like this.This was my first belt, so I’ve never used one before.I had no idea how was the correct way to handle the bottle, until I used it, and it felt down there ground!The size of the bag is really small.I have a pixel3, and it fits so tight, that it feels that it’s going to break.

Good overall belt, i just didn’t care for the way it would move side to side. Ended up returning it and with with an Orange mud hydro quiver.

The bottle is a good size and easy to use; one-way valve works well, and doesn’t easily leak, even if you leave it briefly open, by accident. When properly tightened, bottle “bounce” is minimized, and not distracting. Zippered pocket easily holds a good amount of protein gel or small bars for energy / re-fueling. Also works fine for holding phone and keys, if you don’t want to use an armband or place in pockets. Stuffing too full makes the pouch become noticeably puffed out, such that your arm may brush it when running, so better to just bring the bare minimum in there. Clips securely, and after tightening, the ends of the straps are held neat and tidy with small bands that keep them from flapping. All in all, a pretty slick product — I’m glad I bought it.

Don’t believe what you read on the competition. They *SAY* one size fits all, but – at least from what I’ve seen – it’s only this one that does what it says on the tin.I wear a 40″ short, and this fits me comfortably. When researching my purchase I wasn’t able to find anything else that would fit me without being at the absolute upper end of it’s range.Comfort wise, it tends to be a TINY bit bouncy when I fit set off. Literally, after the first sip of water it settles down and I don’t even notice it’s there any more. This is really helped, I think, by the dual waist straps that help get it cinched down.Capacity – the single 17oz bottle is good, doubly so given the tiny bounce noted above. If it were any larger it wouldn’t be comfortable. If I wanted more I think I’d want a vest style carrier to keep it stable.I like the storage. No complaints on size at all – I don’t want to carry much. Just a set of keys and perhaps a gel. Definitely not an oversized phone.Final comment – I’ve had no issues at all with removing or replacing the bottle while on the move.

I love this flask belt for long hikes and walking my dogs. The flask is perfect and secure and keeps water nice and cold. I would prefer a large pouch to hold a cell phone, keys etc. it’s a little tight give the larger phones we often carry.
