I love the sound of these. Can hear clearly without annoying others or blocking out sounds you made need to hear. I use them listening to music from computer so family isn’t interrupted.Buttons are not the easiest to use. Have to remember their position because you cannot differentiate the buttons by touch. As others have mentioned, volume stetting is not remembered when turned off/back on again. Always comes on loud.I don’t move around with them much, but I cannot think they are good for any physical activity. They slide/spin around on my neck if I’m physically active. My biggest disappointment is their range. If I need to walk away from the computer I lose sound quickly. The connection range is about 20 feet. (Have a pair of on-ear that will stay connected pretty much throughout the whole house.)

My wife nags for having the volume on the TV to high due to my hearing loss. I clearly hear the television wearing the Boomerang, while the others listen to the lower volume on the sound bar. WORKS GREAT. That alone is worth 5 stars and solved the problem. Now my little Pookie nags about several other things. I simply turn the volume up on the Boomerang and drowns out the nagging. This is worth another 5 stars and also solved the problem.

First off the sound of this is incredible but don’t get used to listening to it because the battery won’t last. The description says 10 hrs but it’s not even close, fully charged it’s under 3hrs. Go with the cheap no name ones and you will get the same quality sound and 3 times the battery life per charge.

I am not an audiophile but very into hi-fi (B&W speakers, duo subs, with Hegel amp at home, Burmester in car and Bose QC3 for travel). I watched quite a few reviews before decided on this one.Initial Impression:Just received it today, charged up to full in about an hour. (the unit might partially charged when arrival). Pairing with iPhone is easy and quick. Wearing is comfortable, but not sure I can wear it stable enough when golfing. Looks very nice, but I expect the gold rings color will fade away after some use, let’s see. The speaker works much better indoor, or in a quiet place. (I might speak to the obvious here).Sound Quality- BASS is not good as I expected but improving (see update 6), and I assume other brands can be worse. But I did expect more bass out of this. All the reviews I’ve seen seems suggest this one is better than others (like Sony, maybe even Boss), but compare with my Boss QC3 headset, there is no bass to show. The speaker somehow does a little vibration when play bass heavy content, so it is funny that you feel it but can’t hear it 🙂 For normal content with less bass, the sound is fine. Also, the sound/bass seems shifting all the time. Other review mentioned some sort of aggressive build-in filter. I am not knowledgeable enough to comment. I haven’t try equalizer app. For small, less power driven speakers like this, I might asking too much.- Mid/Highs, vocals, male and female, are great. Very clear. I guess that is as good as you can get out of any neckband speaker.- surprisingly good for Classical music. Piano sounds full and powerful. String music is nicely detailed. Even orchestra sounds satisfying. This is totally unexpected, because Piano is the most difficult to sound right!Don’t have enough hours to see other aspects. Will update if something worthy comes up.Update 1 after a few days – tried the Spotify equalizer as others recommended, and the vibration is reduced, but bass is still very weak if there is any. It seems like a failed engineering where all the effort to boost bass turned into vibration of speaker, rather than low frequency sound, and damaging the mid and hi. Lowered to 3-star, and start considering return.Update 2 – tried in golf course, and it is a bad idea. It will fall off when you swing, and it can easily mess up your swing too.Update 3 – the battery died on the 7th day, average daily use is about 45min, WAY SHORT than 12 hours play time advertised.Update 4 – after the 2nd full charge to the battery, it does seem to last around 12 hours. So I assume my first charge is not really a full charge. Also, I kind of used to the weak bass now, so move the overall rating back to 4-star, and decide to keep this one. However, the problem other people reported still hold true: The bass is indeed very weak. If you don’t use equalizer to turn down the bass, the other frequency sound will be affected when heavy base note hits. Equalizer will stabilize the music, but will NOT enhance the bass that is not there.Update 5 – I also agree with other reviewers that the voice command is annoying, and the startup volume is embarrassingly high. However, the overall sound quality is decent, and walking around with it is a good choice.Update 6 – using it for 5 months now, and the base seems improving and acceptable now! It seems the speaker need some break in period like the regular speakers.

Good sound quality. Nice surround sound. It’s just a smidge quiet.I wear headphones all day, for meetings, coding, gaming, etc. I also wear glasses. Sometimes my glasses dig into the side and back of my head. Swapping to this guy is a great relief. Not sure I’d use it as a primary device, but it’s good for what it is.

Could be really really good if announcements were not so loud and hurting ears.

First off, the sound quality on this is quite good IMO, including the bass response. I like that it’s waterproof and I can wash the car in it or do outside activities and not worry about sweat or a spill tearing it up. Pairing is easy, I think it looks quite nice, and it is very comfortable to wear, especially if you like to sleep in headphones or do activities where you still need to be able to hear what’s going on around you (biking, walking in busy areas, etc). Now for the weirdness… it sounds great up until about half volume, which IMO is plenty loud. Once you go above half volume, the volume itself doesn’t really seem to increase, maybe just slightly, but the sound quality just goes downhill fast without any real increase in volume. It seems as if it has a built in bass cut or something above a certain volume level, and instead of smoothing out the sound, it just crashes and burns… hard. So, final verdict? For under a c-note, I think it’s a great deal. It’s plenty loud enough for me at half volume or a smidge over that, before the bass cut weirdness happens, so if you can live with moderate volumes (still just as loud as my AirPods near max volume) then you’ll probably love it. If you feel the need for volumes that make your ears bleed as you bounce down the road listening to Techmaster P.E.B. or BASS 305… you might want to look elsewhere.

Is there a way to disable welcome and goodbye sounds everytime the device connects/disconnect?

It's pretty annoying and that sound is too loud makes it impossible to use in the office, maybe I have to return mine.

Is the mic any good for calling ?

So I've found hacks for these speakers, put the microphone closer but not be able to blow air in the microphone hole, and also I put one side of the speaker up either by hand or shoulder when I really need to pay attention to what I'm trying to hear, very clear, clean sound music and talk, long battery, have a good one

Can you wear this while sleeping?

I wear it around the front of my neck as I sleep mostly on my back. It is perfect. I can even roll onto my side with no problem.

When you turn it on or off etc, is there a voice yelling at you like it does in many other Chinese speakers? If so, can you turn it off?

It does let you know you are connected or it says goodbye when turning off not yelling at all these are nice wearable speakers

Would these work natively for ps4/5 or would a bt dongle be required? and any latency issues?

So long as Bluetooth connection available…
