Love the product idea. This did much more than measure heart rate and sleep quality for me. I ve used it to manage my temper & emotions.Controling your heart rate and keeping it below a certain level guarantees you never get mad essentially and forces you to pace yourself when discussing with other people.WHY 4 STARS AND NOT 5?Accuracy appears to be somewhat poor. Possibly because I picked the large ring which is rather big, but the small one would be too small for me and cut blood circulation. In particular this is not very good at tracking fast heart rate (above 100-120) which occurs frequently during a workout and is important to track (eg i need to know if im at 120 or 160… but it seems it stays stuck in the low 100’s)

I am a medical doctor. I was intrigued by the apparent simplicity and unobtrusivness of this product for both personal use and possibly for my patients.Despite the reviews, I gave it a shot.Without getting into too much technical detail, I will just say that I was surprised by both day and overnight values and patterns. They simply didn’t add up medically.I have 2 other devices (one consumer grade and 1 medical grade) and brought another one home from work. I compared the 4 devices against each other across various times and over a 2 week period. All mfg instructions were carefully followed and for the ring, multiple fingers were used.Bottom line: the 3 other devices show a high degree of internal consistency and the patterns of variability matched other physiologic parameters appropriately. This device showed striking inaccuracies more than 40% of the time. These types of inaccuracies and their degree could EASILY lead a personal physician to be alarmed and to order unnecessary testing and consultation. Pulmonary function testing, sleep studies, echocardiograms and the like are expensive. With all testing comes the risk of false positive results leading to further testing. Testing in these situations is not free of risk of harm. After a general ‘customer with an issue’ email, in subsequent mails (2) I expressed my concerns and offered my assistance and data to the company (for free). After an initial reply to my first general email, requesting my contact information (in retrospect probably automated), my communications were ignored.Again, this device is NOT RETURNABLE and is so willfully inaccurate that we are looking into which agency and process to use to report it.The company does not respond.

My dr suggested one of these rings, and I was excited to use. It was revealing on the app that I did have some sleep apnea and wasn’t in the correct level of REM sleep. It led me to seek out a sleep dr to discuss situation. I have taken measures to increase REM through suggestions online. I’ve used for 2.5 months and started having issues. I do find it hard to keep a charge through USB ports. Both USB devices completely fell apart within 2 weeks of each other so I cannot use. I wasn’t aware there was a warranty on amazon and am now beyond 30 days. I will be contacting the company directly to see if they will replace. It was helpful to get information, but it doesn’t help if I only got less than 3 months benefit and charging ports don’t work.

I disliked the protrusion that fits under your finger, it’s very bothersome.

My sleep doctor recommended this ring. The ring was working great for the first 21/2 months, but then stopped working and gave me instructions to leave it off for 12 hours and recharge. Unfortunately, that didn’t fix the problem after several tries. The good news is I was able to connect with an actual person at BodiMetrics. Given my unsuccessful attempts to resolve the problem, they agreed to replace the ring at their cost. I may have caused the problem by overcharging the ring, but the brochure doesn’t warn you sufficiently about overcharging and the necessity of taking it off charger when green light stops blinking. I had left it on charger much longer before and didn’t have problem, but this time I did. So I think the information provided with the product could be more complete, but happy they are replacing ring. I look forward to being able to use it again for sleep and exercise.

my sleep dr recommended this item, and although it provided a lot of good data the ring does not hold a charge long.

One review I saw before buying this said it was a sleep study in a little ring. It really is. It’s a nightly sleep study. Love it. Using it with my CPAP which is probably increasing my life expectancy. The machine gives me info about events that helped me make adjustments. The ring gives me actual O2 levels and events…but also in a chart for the whole night. Very enlightening. It really brought the issue home for me & I definitely see the need for the CPAP when I see the independent data from with and without using the CPAP.

Ring fell apart after 26 days, no support or customer service. Tried for several days when I finally got a reply said it was too late for a replacement or refund. The ring design is faulty so do not waste your money.

I’ve owned this ring since January 2022. The Android app was last updated in April. I only use the device for sleep tracking. Syncing fails routinely (I will miss out on days of data at a time) and the user experience in-app is pretty bad when monitoring is active. You basically can’t do anything but look at the monitoring screen while the ring is recording. There’s really no excuse for this poor app design in 2022. The hardware itself seems fine but is a bit useless without the software to unlock its full potential.

I bought this as a gift for my husband. He likes it a lot, mobile app great and accuracy good. However, dislikes it takes too long to charge, battery only for 8 hrs, has to charge daily.

Very disappointed in this product. After an all day charge and just wearing over night it would not stay charged all day.
