This is an updated, unsolicited and unrewarded review after using them every day for two months. I have dropped from 5 to 4 stars. I use them all day and my only complaint is that they can fall off easily when you move around at all AND the control buttons are feeling weaker and the VOLUME UP button has failed! The good news is I’ve dropped them to sometimes rough ground from 5-8 feet (if I’m working on a ladder) at least 6-7 times and they still work like new. I’ve coated them in dirt and sawdust and wiped them off quickly with a damp anything and they still look like new.I still really like the sound quality and love how the sound is “in my head”. Sometimes I wear them backwards when reclining or I’ll hang or set them nearby to avoid dropping them. I’ve even found myself wearing them upside down on my head like a crown. Now, if one of these designers came up with some sort of quick release soft closing clasp, so they could still be loose and flip around but couldn’t fall off, it would be worth something to your more active users. Stronger control buttons would also help.Old review – after 2 daysYou know what, for $19.99 I’m giving these neck speakers 5 stars and buying another set for when these break.I like to listen to tv or music while I move around inside and outside the house doing whatever and don’t like the sound dominating my hearing like any over-the-ear sound source will. I’ve tried several types including the sound hat with speakers in the bill. Those and others that cost more than these were cheaply made and the sound was weaker and they eventually failed.I have worn these two days now for over 10 hours each day. I don’t know how long they will last and I did recharge in between but that is longer than others would last. For $19.99 that is 5 stars. The sound quality is surprisingly good. I’m no audio expert or aficionado but the sound is rich and with the design and placement of speakers it actually seems like the speakers are inside my head. I like that and they sound better than the tv right in front of me. For $19.99 that is 5 stars.Overall the design and construction seem smart and good but minimal. The control buttons and connecting ports seem strong enough and should hold up but they are, again, minimal. The finishes are good now but I don’t know how well the ‘rubberized’ side will hold up. Still, for $19.99 I am giving it 5 stars for build quality. There are several devices similar to these on Amazon and they may be better, I don’t know. But they all cost at least twice what these cost and these are more than good enough for my purposes. The only problem will be if they don’t hold up but I think they will.I did order a second pair. That’s what I do when I find something either so good or economical or both. They can’t last forever and I want my backup in hand.

If you’re looking at this neckband speaker, you’ve likely seen some of the $300+ versions and thought “how can this one be so much cheaper??” Well, I was in the same boat, and decided to pick one up. The quick summary is: it works, but it certainly feels like a “value” speaker that basically just hangs around your neck.A neckband speaker is certainly a style of speakers I like. I dislike wearing actual headphones for many reasons. But don’t want music blaring throughout my house, or coming out of my terrible phone speakers. This is the middle ground. This speaker is somewhat comfortable. It’s hard plastic though, so it actually slides around a bit. In other words, not for “mountain climbing” as the description suggests. I was doing light building with some tools, and it’d fall once I started lifting my shoulders too much because it’d start tipping it backwards. I did solve this by actually placing it under my shirt/collar. But it looks goofy… The speakers are located right where your ears are. Which is good, but as soon as you turn your head 90 degrees, you lose 25%-50% of the sound. It’s an interesting sensation. The speakers are also what you’d expect for a $30 speaker. So just ok. It also suffers from that static noise you get with wireless headphones when no sound is coming out. Very noticeable between songs.I did not get a chance to try out the FM tuner that is advertised, or the voice calls.Bought this for $27.99. Worth it for the money. It’s a good way to test out if you like these kinds of headphones, before splurging on a super expensive version.

*I ordered this on Sun. Oct 17th and it showed that I should get it by Weds., but instead got it the next day, just lucky that my local distribution center of Amazon had it in stock here in South Florida.*I’m writing this review on Nov. 16th, so just under a months usage.*I explain at the end of the review why I rated it a 4 instead of 5Every day I take my 16 year old, non verbal Autistic son out for a bike ride and a walk every day. I like how with the Bludio, I can listen to my music without covering my ears with speakers, so I can still hear what’s going on around me. I go out every single day rain or shine for between 5-10 miles, or between 45 to 90 min on the bike and then for about an hour walk. Usually the battery only gets used up around 10-15% per hour, so I imagine that it could go on for several hours. Never had it die on my so I don’t know. About a week ago, we were out biking and it started raining HARD… remnants of the last Tropical storm. The speaker got SOAKED and stopped working. When I got home, I hung it up on a hook with the port parts draining down. The next morning I wrapped left it out in the Sun, on top of a picnic table in my back yard. I had to bring it back in later because it started raining again, but repeated the process the next day. Within a couple of days the speaker started working again, once it was fully dried inside. Yesterday it started raining while we were out on our bike ride again, but this time I was prepared and wrapped the open ports in a sandwich bag.*I’ve also used this to listen to Youtube or Podcasts on my Alexa Show at a low volume in the kitchen, while the rest of my family is in the Family room watching TV.*Why I rated this a 4 and not 5When I first saw the Bose Soundwear, I thought it was a fantastic invention. I tried one out at Best Buy and REALLY wanted one, but couldn’t see myself spending $400.00 on such an accessory. Even now, that it’s dropped to $299.95 here on Amazon, for me is just way too much. I REALLY liked the soft flex design of the Bose and when I first saw this, I thought it was a copycat for a tenth the price so I bought it. What I didn’t realize is that it’s a very hard and inflexible plastic. While not as comfortable as the Bose, it’s actually very comfortable … just not what I was expecting, and as a side note I wear this both with and without a shirt, but usually without… especially when I’m, biking.*The main reason I rated it a 4 is because the speakers sound pretty flat with very little range. Again, my only other experience was with the Bose which costs 10X more, but I’ve even had ear pieces that have better Bass than this. It’s not horrible, just a bit worse than I expected.*Final Thoughts. If you’re looking for wearable speakers, but don’t want to spend a fortune these are a very good buy. You are sacrificing a bit of Bass, compared to most headsets, but this has decent sound quality and is especially good if you want to listen to music, the TV or a Podcast at a low volume without disturbing others in the household. Great for biking, but not as good for running as it does tend to jump around on your shoulders a bit.

Pros: Comparatively cheaper than bigger brands . Does the job it needs to do while walking , cycling , making or receiving a call , hands free , good battery life.Cons: Inflexible, Volume level , bass level very low , but workableService: Not known as I have not needed it. But I have owned Bose Sound wear companion for 2 years but did not get the service for Bose, hence bought this

Hardly worked for 100 days. Purchased in 1st week of July 21 and it has gone kaput. First it wasted my two SD cards, corrupting them and making them unrecognisable by any device. Today (27th Oct 21) it’s battery stopped working and not getting charged.Amazon has washed off hands by giving product’s China contact number and asked to check website of product for service.Sent a mail to Bluedio…. they too didn’t respond positivel. No one knew how to open the product & change battery. Finally some one helped & it costed Rs.1000 to replace the battery.AVOID this product….Amazon is irresponsible in marketing a product for which they are not able to ensure service. THEY SHOULD SHARE THAT AUTHORISED SERVICING NOT AVAILABLE IN INDIA….UPFRONT.

This is actually my third personal purchase of this device as well as I’ve gifted 5 others to family members.Unbeatable bang for your audio dollar these deliver Chrisp, powerful audio in full 3D sound without sacrificing ambient sound, very important in certain activities like cycling, like I said, this is my third personal unit. Ones buttons was damaged in a freak fall (their normally very durable) and the other simply wore out its battery life after over two years of constant use, it’s Bluetooth function has weakened. I’ve missed my wearable concert Hall welcome back!

My only complaint is they will fall off your shoulders, but there are ways around that. I’m usually cold, so I put my jacket over them and they seem to stay a lot better.
