Good quality and features. Great battery life. Good build quality. Advertised as waterproof.VERY easy operation. Practically no learning curve.FOV is about 100 degrees when measuring horizontally. Not sure how much it is diagonally.Only downside: High compression which ruins video quality.I use it as a sort of ‘dashcam’ for my electric scooter. For slow moving captures it’s kind of fine, but if you’re riding then the low data rate of the video can’t keep up with the constantly changing scenery. If the camera is moving around, the recording looks very blocky. There is a setting to select the video quality (high, medium, low) but I don’t see any difference between all of these. Also the data rate with these 3 setting stays exactly the same.Framerates seem to be as advertised. The aperture and sensitivity of the sensor seem relatively large and thus lets in a lot of light. I can tell by the complete lack of motion blur. Every video frame is extremely sharp. Shutter time must be very short. Here’s an overview of what all different resolution settings can offer:1) 2560×1440 30p: I believe this is the size of the image sensor, so this should give the best video quality without any scaling applied -> Full frame FOV.2) 2304×1296 30p: Good video quality. Non cropped, so gives a full frame FOV.3) 2560×1080 30p: Still good video quality. Top and bottom cropped for 21:9 aspect ratio. Horizontal FOV is still maximum.4) 1920×1080 45p: Frame is cropped both horizontally and vertically. I’m experiencing audio desync at this resolution setting. This is probably due to the hardware in the camera being pushed to it’s very limit in terms of data rate.5) 1920×1080 30p: Same resolution as above but 30p and without audio desync.6) 1440×1080 30p: Cropped vertically, and cropped horizontally but even more. This is a 4:3 aspect ratio, however the menu says that it’s 16:9.7) 1280×720 60p: Yeah you’ll get the very fluid 60p but the image quality is horrific. Looks like an upscaled 256×144 video with a heavy sharpening effect. Full frame FOV however8) 1280×720 30p: Much better quality than above but only 30p. This is cropped though, both horizontally and vertically.9) 848×480 30p: Good image quality for a 480 pixels tall video format. Full frame FOV.My findings regarding the resolutions:Data rate is roughly the same in all resolutions, so this means you either choose higher resolution with more compression, or less resolution with less compression.Personally I really didn’t want to use a cropped mode, so that leaves me the choice between resolutions 1), 2), 7) or 9).9) is a very small resolution, I’d probably never use this.7) is horrible as I said before. I’d rather record 30p with good image quality, and then use some AI frame interpolation software like Flowframes to get back the fluid 60p.2) theoretically has less compression than 1), but honestly due to the lower resolution I can’t tell any difference in the resulting quality.1) is good. Honestly I really don’t need 2k resolution especially since it’s heavy to do video editing on. However I guess I’ll just keep using this. If 4) or 5) would have been full frame video, I probably would have used one of these. There is sometimes some screen-tearing. I checked if the PAL or NTSC format changed anything regarding this issue, and then I found that neither mode had screen tearing. I’ll have to investigate why this was the case earlier, maybe it’s only on a specific resolution. The camera adapts very well and fast to changes in brightness. It also has a digital zoom function.I found out that long-pressing the left bottom button gives a shortcut to replaying the latest recording. The audio quality is amazing. Many people here wrote complaints about the audio and I totally disagree. The audio sounds very full. I think it’s stereo audio also. I can hear very low pitched noises and also the very high pitch coil whine of my scooter. When riding there is surprisingly no wind noise at all. I’m very amazed by this. However when I look sideways there’s suddenly a lot of wind noise. VERY happy with the audio!IR function works with a physically moving filter which you can hear click when it’s activated. I was greatly impressed by the range and clarity of the IR capturing mode. The IR lights do a very good job illuminating the area. There’s also a visible light LED. It’s good for signaling but not great for illuminating the area.Lens and screen seem to be covered with glass. Easy to clean since the lens is almost flush with the body. The LCD is very clear and bright. I dialed the brightness down to the lowest. Both the included clips can rotate. It’s very stiff in the beginning and may require a lot of force, but they can click every few degrees and hold very well. People wrote in their reviews that the clips are crappy but I tend to disagree. The locking and rotating mechanisms are in metal. The camera is obviously heavier than a gopro but for its size I think the weight is proportionate. It’s not ‘too heavy’.I’m pretty sure this camera is almost identical to the waterproof Boblov one. They have the same amount of buttons in the same locations. Same locations for flood light, IR lights, laser pointer, microphones, … everythins seems the same. Only difference I can tell from the product pages is that the Aolbea has only internal memory and the Boblov I beleave has the ability to plug an SD card.

From opening the box to trying it out, this little camera has already impressed me. It’s easy to use the menu and navigate through the options. I have arthritis and my symptoms are beginning to show, but so far the buttons / controls have not caused me any problems. The instruction booklet is clear, concise and well illustrated, which is ideal whether you are new to body cams or an experienced user. The screen is impressive, as the clarity and size of the images are great even before making adjustments. The 180° Rotatable lens allows you to swivel from what I call “forward mode” to “selfie mode”.Files are easily deleted directly on the camera or by connecting to a computer via USB.There is also an option to protect the files on the SD card.I look forward to using this camera all year round as it is small and light enough to wear on a t-shirt without pulling too much.An all round practical and convenient addition to my growing selection of body cams.

I didn’t buy this body cam to record everyday situations from the body. Rather, it should be used as a kind of surveillance camera in a public place. After charging, I set the camera to auto motion detection with recording. I mounted the camera in a safe place and let it run overnight. And I have to say: everything worked great. The camera started 3 times and recorded vehicles that had entered the detection area. All very reliable and with good image quality Based on my previous experience, I can only recommend the camera, especially for this price.

It was promptly delivered, packaged very well, and works like a dream. The replies that I received from the seller were immediate, courteous and just great all round. I’m a happy camper

I love how easy it is to use, but trying to move the video from camera to pc/laptop is difficult. It asks for a password and when you put it in it does nothing. That’s the only issue I have so that’s why I gave it 4 stars. They need to give better instructions as well.

I wear my body camera everyday at work. The battery last through my entire shift. The functions are easy to learn. I also love that it has night vision since I usually arrive to work before sunrise.

After 12 hours of testing and playback testing…The video quality is fairly good if you are playing back on PC with the windows media player. In this case, the audio did not work at all. I requested the seller to advise to solve this problem. I will update you on this later. If you play on VLC media player, the audio works fine, but the video quality is unwatchable. It is grainy and also poor quality overall. If the audio cannot be played in normal playback on PC with fairly good quality, I do not see the point in using this cam for any evidence in court or video proofs. So far, I am not impressed and may want to return.

I have not been able to get audio playback while watching the videos on a PC. The video quality is alright, but I don’t believe the resolution is as high as the settings you can select. At the highest resolution you should be able to zoom in substantially while maintaining excellent resolution, but it is actually quite grainy.

Worked the first time i used the Body Worn Camera (BWC) and the unit is not recognizing the SD or internal memory. It sending me an error telling me to re insert the SD card. Not clue where it is but the unit is well sealed. I have emailed the seller to resolve this issue and will report back on efficiency and timelines. That being said on the highest quality setting the unit is clear but has a slight orange tint to the images. The sound quality is very bad so if you want a BWC that will record high quality audio as well as video this model may not be the one for you. Likely returning this one to purchase a higher quality.Notice the bottom of the screen in the middle where it shows 0GB, the unit is suppose to have a Internal 64 Gb memory. Seller and tech support never responded to any of my emails. The seller Just sent me an email and once they have responded i may update this review further.

Great wide angle lens and super easy to setup. Simply charge it up and attach where you want.Tons of features and waterproof to top it off. Night vision works great and the audio is clear no raspy audio during playback on a computer.
