Overall, I like this backpack pretty well. It has a padded laptop compartment and plenty of additional pouches for extra accessories. It also opens fully and is easy to get access to everything when you need to.While I have not yet had the opportunity to fully test it out, I have verified that the solar panel on it works and was able to provide enough power to start charging both a portable emergency light as well as my cell phone. There are two internal USB ports for power, as well as two more externally accessible ones behind a waterproof cover on the side. Whenever the panel is generating at least some power, the LED on the internal port turns red, and when it is fully functioning in bright sunlight, it turns green. One thing that did surprise, me was how little light outside it took to at least get the LED to light up red and for my cell phone to start registering that it was at least charging. While I doubt it would charge much or fast with that low a light level, any charge is better than nothing. For a hiker, a college student, or in case of an emergency, this could be a few very useful item to have. The only negatives I have to say about this are that the zippers are a bit stiff and that the outside material has a bit of a “cheap vinyl” look and feel to it, though that is just likely due to the nature of the waterproof TPU and not actually the case. As it gets some use and gets broken in, I would guess that both will loosen up and improve a bit. That said, the main drawing point for this item is the solar panel, which seems to work better than I expected it to. So, all in all, I am pleased with this item.

Great backpack, but if you are looking for it to charge devices and you are an indoor person, not going to happen. Solar pannels do not get enough light from the room around you. Had it in the front seat of my car where it got some sun and it charged my battery that was dead 1/5 of the way in about 3/4 of an hour. This is not a fault of the device. If you do a lot of outdoor stuff where there is sun, it is great.Inside it is roomy and has compartments that you can store different things in.My one complaint, and it does not say it comes with it so it is not really a complaint, is it does not come with a battery. Seems like if you are selling something to charge things you would have something charge. Again, it is not in the description so it cannot be something to mark down on.It does have a connecion that can be accessed externally as well as internally, however to access the external port you do have to connect a wire inside the backpack. There is a light internal to show it is charging. I would suggest that if possible, they make this available externally. It is a bother to open it up to see if it is charging or not.All in all, it is worth the price.

I like the molding that is in between the user and the bag itself. When riding bikes wearing a book bag too always added more heat and weight. This molding design helps with the heat and it sits high enough to displace the weight. I really like the design and the extra zipper up top so I can get to the main section without unzipping it all the way.Currently, I have it in the office and the ceiling lights are giving it some juice hahaha. I don’t know if that is good or bad. I have it connected to a power bank in one of the pockets then I have my wireless earphones connected to that. Since I do a lot of walking outside during the day this is perfect for me. Thank you, Amazon for sending this out for review.
