We’ve had these for about a month and so far they get a great range and have some fun features. Higher quality than I was expecting. We haven’t texted the range, but they’re perfectly clear anywhere in our house.

I just love these things. I bought them for my son for his 5th birthday. He never takes it off. It’s nice for when he’s out playing in the yard or working on the car with his dad to stay in communication. They are built to last.

Doesn’t work through a wooden door at 4 feet distance.

I use these for work in a secure juvenile facility where these are our only form of staff communication and these worked for me throughout the building and out on the basketball courts. Battery life has been good and lasted through a double (16 hour shift). The speaker was clear and talking was easy and convenient for work! Very satisfied with them.Have used them for about a month now so I cant speak to longevity of the product.

I have 6 and 8 year old little boys. We have started taking them camping this summer and want to give them a little freedom to explore the play areas while sticking together. I must stay in contact with them some how because they are still very young – BUT – I also want them to learn responsibility of staying in contact and being nice to (yet weary of) others. This is a tricky skill to teach!!! I want to give them free range, but the helicopter mom in me is screaming. We opened these watches today and so far I am loving them! No hand held talkie to leave in the sandbox and forget about :-). No talkie to have to have banging on a necklace around our necks. I allowed my 6 year old to run down about a half mile to the culdasack (spelling?) of our neighborhood and it sounded perfectly clear. I think they will have good range for my needs. We will probably use them up to a mile. We also tested them from different rooms of the house and there seems to be no problems with thick walls. They are rather large on my 6 year olds’ wrist, but they will not fall off – so it will be no problem. The directions are a bit hard to follow, but I have never worked with walkie talkies before. I think people who have used talkies before will be fine. I may buy another set just so everyone in my family will be wearing one!

Good product, huge size for kids, need to work a bit to get the walkie talkie working. Overall its good.Distance i tested for 3 km works but voice keeps breaking, i doubt the 6km might have to test in country side or stateparks where there is less inference.

Items does not really work for more than 100 meters. I purchased this to keep in touch with my kids while they play in the same complex around, it works inside the house, but out side the house will lose signal after 100 meters like 2 houses apart will not work. This items might be OK as toys for fun for kids, if you want to keep in touch you can’t relay on this items since are poor quality , the voice breaks to easy and won’t really provide a secure communication way.Do not get this if you will rely for communication these are toys.

You would be excited to think these would work like Dick Tracy watches, but they don’t. Hardly any communication outdoors, and when they did, it was either full of static, or crystal clear picking up truckers/dispatch talking, and sometimes using language that I didn’t want my 7 year old to hear. I gave them 2 stars because on a rainy day you could at least play with them indoors and reception was better (not perfect, but better).
