Heats up fast. Vibration actually does something. The band is comfortable, can be worm on bare skin and stays on. Controls should be upside down (facing user). Battery falls out every time i get up or squat down to pick something up. This is a huge minus for me. Seems like an easy fix.

I really LOVED this product but it started to malfunction continuously right away. I returned it and purchased a second one and the exact same thing happened! 🙁 I was so bummed… and really wanted one, so I tried ordering it from REI, and it happened a third time. I hope the company can work out the bugs because when it was working it was extremely effective for relieving my back pain.

It’s not that it’s bad, just expensive, and annoying that th you battery pops off so easily and shuts the whole thing down.

*INEFFECTIVE – STOPPED WORKING AFTER 2 MONTHS – BAD RETURN POLICY* I purchased the back and shoulder Hyperice products, as well as the vyper roller. The roller is great – no issues. The back brace with the heat and vibration is a good concept but the heat is localized around the little vibrators and the three settings don’t give much control – it’s usually either way too hot or you can’t feel it at all. One of the four units also stopped working and I’m in the process of returning to Hyperice for repair – waste of my time though – and after only a couple months of occasional use. The shoulder wrap unit has the same issue and doesn’t fit comfortably on top of that. It doesnt apply vibration or heat to the upper trap or rotator cuff as I’d hoped. I asked Hyperice to refund me for this product and they refused bc it’s past 30 days. The buttons on it also stopped working so its a real hassle to get it to turn on at all. To me a good company will accept returns of their products if they’re defective or don’t achieve their intended purpose. I won’t be purchasing anything else from this company. 👋🏼
