This’s my 3rd Soundbot in 3 years. Each one lasts for at least an Year. First 2 were purchased in US Amazon store. I use it for gym purpose especially jogging. It handles sweats and worked fine all the time. Thank you seller for bringing this gem to IndiaEdit: After 1 month, the headset is not charging. Disappointed.

I use a lot of different Bluetooth headsets, but this is the one that I seem to keep coming back to. It’s great if you like to not recharge daily, or even weekly if you use even less often than I do. I got these when I wanted the slightly over there ear, more ridged style of headphones, versus the dangling cords, and my previous bt2.0 headset similar to this one (A pair of Jabra bt620s) was no longer having replacement parts made and my cushions were/had falling/fallen apart(seriously nasty). Quite the upgrade to those nearly 10 year old headphones. There was a bit of a learning curve getting used to these for the first week(volume up and down to launch Google Assistant) but all in all it has been a pleasant experience, if that is not apparent by my previous comments. My only concern and true complaint is with the loudness. The volume for music had been quite decent, going too loud if I want to use them as speakers on my neck, but the volume for calls is where there is an issue. If I’m driving, or sometimes even at work, quite often I am unable to hear a caller if the caller is in an area that they must speak more quietly, such as their cubicle. I can’t comment on the bass, as I’m not of a treble man(though big fan of Trainor), and by no means an I am audiophile, though that probably apparent by my general love of Bluetooth headsets. The microphone on these, on the other hand, is typically great, unless I need to be a little quieter, at which point cupping my hand will often assist in getting my voice to pick up. Mic gain is a common concern for less costly headsets(pretty much all I buy) but SoundBots have been one of the least problematic in the microphone gain area.Bluetooth reception is great on these, the antenna being primarily in the right earpiece as I’m accustomed, and around my house the only issue I see is when I go outside typically. The only other time I’ve had concerns with Bluetooth reception is when I’ve placed my phone into my left pants pocket(as one of my headsets more or less required since the main antenna was to that end of that headset), my body being the interference between the phone and the SoundBots, but even then the issues were very minimal and mainly affecting the mic transmission. If I haven’t been clear, the battery life on these is amazing, giving me close to 20+ hours consistently. This has been hard to gauge, as I never use them actively for more than 5 hours. As I’ve seen, the time to charge has been 2 hours or less on a standard 2A line. I usually let them turn themselves of before I charge. I would not say that I’ve seen any diminished performance with the battery, but again that’s a difficult statement since I’ve probably only used them from fully charged to death once in the 18 month I have had them.I’m so glad these do not read the phone numbers of callers when I receive a call. They either play my ringtone if I am on sound or vibrate, or they make a distinct beep in my ear if I’m on full silence, which I typically am(about 90% of the week, including weekends).Pros:Long battery life for a lighter, ridged headsetGreat volume for musicBattery for days, if not a week plus, on a few hours a day usageGenerally a comfortable ear design though I have had some over ear pain with this “heavier” style in the past, so either I’m used to it or these are lighter than the average headset in this styleMore than decent mic gain, though I’m not doing any sort if recordingFoldable, coat/cargo pocketable designLots moreCons:Call volume can be difficult at times, especially when the caller is quieter and/or the environment is noisy for youWhat I would change or improve on them:I wish the SoundBots would read the name of the callerBluetooth 5.0 with aptxUSB type C charging and audioNano coating(I’ve not experienced a single issue with moisture exposure to these, but love to know that I would be safe if I did)Larger battery would not hurt 😊4.7/5 starsYou will not regret this purchase, especially if you’re on a budget, real or self imposed, and want long battery life.I was not compensated for this review, and am unbiased.

These are really great quality. Great sound, very comfortable and well worth the money.

There is a minor audio lag / delay in receiving the sound. This is noticeable while watching a video/TV. I feel the sound quality is good.I found some noise disturbance once and I had to switch it off and on again and the disturbance was gone. This product is good for me because I don’t like headphones which go over the head. When the the band at the back of the head touches the shirt collar, it results in some scratching sound. I then have to reposition it so that the connecting band doesn’t come close to my shirt collar.Overall, I am satisfied as I feel it is value for money.

I just got my SoundBot SB221 headphones, and after using them for a few hours tonight, here’s my thoughts.Sound Quality: 9/10Considering how in-expensive these things are I am extremely impressed with the sound quality. I’ve been cycling through various types of music and videos (via Netflix/Prime/DisneyPlus)… and these things sound great. They give a really full and rich sound with a good bass.Noise Reduction: 7/10The key word here is Reduction, not Cancelation. Does it remove all noise around me? No. If I’m just wearing them with nothing playing, I can generally hear everything. But If I’ve got music on with volume set to at least 40% or higher, it downs out most things. For Videos it’s up and down depending on the scenes. If you’re looking for something to listen to music and at least filter out some of the noise around you, these definitely do the job.Microphone Quality: 7/10I’ve not used it on a Zoom yet but intend to. The testing I’ve done on phone calls has been great. Everyone hears me perfectly fine with no complaints.Technology (Bluetooth, Battery, etc.): TBD but promisingThe Bluetooth works well. The headset showed on my phone’s nearby devices as soon as I turned it on. I’ve done some tests in my house and found that on average I can walk 3 to 4 rooms away (so maybe 30 – 40 feet) before I start to lose the connection. I’ve not had it long enough to test the battery so I’ll have to update again once I’ve had more time with that.So far so good right?Design: 4/10Ok, let me explain.First, the good: I like how the frame is collapsible which is useful for storage. I also like how the actual speakers can rotate which I’d imagine can be helpful for differing ear shapes/angles.Now, the bad: The main issue I have is that this headset appears to have been designed to fit around the head of children. Seriously. If you aren’t a teenager (or younger) and/or if you aren’t a special human being granted with the gift of a thinner skull/head… you’re gonna struggle with these. I’ll admit my neck and head are probably larger than average… but still. I can get the speakers over my ears but only stretching the frame past it’s natural form. Because of this, it sits on my ears less comfortably than it should. Also, because of the smaller frame, it ends up causing the point where the frame folds on both sides to push up against head behind my ears which causes more discomfort. And even where it sits on my ears, it does so with less breathing room (due to the padding). I’ve attached a picture above showing just how small the frame’s natural form is (compared to an iPhone 8). It’s truly hard to believe they intended this for any adults with a normal sized skull/head/neck. I had to double check the box and posting to see if I had accidentally selected “Small” or “Kids” size. And once you see the real size of it, you instantly know (if you didn’t already) that the images on the listing of people wearing them are photoshopped cause there’s no way there’s that much frame to spare behind them. I could be wrong, but I suspect it comes down to how wide the overall frame is. I think it probably goes back far enough, but is not wide enough. So what’s my all in all review? I’m torn. For a (as of 10/15/2022) $20 set of behind ear headphones, these things are a great option when it comes to sound quality, microphone quality, and portability. The swivel/folding features of the frame are awesome. But, if you are looking for headphones for anyone older than 15 and not uniquely blessed with a smaller skull/head/neck… then these are not going to be as comfortable as they should be. The frame just isn’t wide enough to comfortably fit as it should on an average persons head/neck… and certainly not for someone with a larger head/neck. I’m going to give them some more time over the next two days to see if anything changes… but I suspect I’m going to have to ask to return them which is a shame. The sound is great on them. Probably one of the best for the price I’ll find.
Great product –
Overall, I like the headphones. The sound is good, the buttons are easy to use, and the price is great. I’ll update this when I get a chance to work out while wearing them, but I’m hoping they hold up to the claim that they’re sweatproof. So far, the microphone seems to be good as well, although not amazing as I still hear a bit of background noise being picked up when I listen to a recording taken using the headset. However, there are a few annoying bits.First, as someone with a big head, these definitely started out very uncomfortable. They were too tight, and the joint behind the ear dug into my skull. To make them comfortable, I stretched the headphones over a couple of books and left them there for about a day. Frankly, they’d be fine without being foldable and without that joint. After stretching them out a bit, they feel much better now.Second, it’s a minor annoyance that the volume and forward/backward buttons do not register being held down. If you want to turn the volume up or down, you have to do individual clicks until it’s where you want it to be instead of being able to just hold them down. And the forward and backward buttons will only change songs instead of being able to scan forward or backward a few seconds. But again, for $20 these headphones are pretty decent. Between the good sound, the easy to use buttons, and the functional mic, I think they’ll do just fine.

Have only used for 1 day but am very impressed with the sound quality and volume and both call volume and clarity in and out is quite good. I was using Jabra Elite buds and the sound quality in all aspects is far better with the Sounbots. After a whole days use these do get a little uncomfortable just over the ear but will be different for everyone and again far outstrips the Jabras earbuds for comfort. The only downside for me was the box indicated active noise cancelling and from my experience to date I get the impression it has none, in fact lets in more ambient noise than the Jabras that had no noise cancelling other than passive through the ear bud itself. Overall very happy with the purchase and can’t go wrong at this price.

Good priloduct BUT the outside of the ear piece comes off after about 4 or 5 months of use. I do like the design with volume on the headset good for tv & comfortable.
