By the dimensions provided in the description, my DELL Inspiron 17 5000 Series should have fit into this bag. It actual fits extremely tight, read that as, it’s a fight to get it in and out. . . If the bag did not taper at the top, it would fit OK.The bag has a small pocket for a an iPad sized device and two others for large smartphones. The build quality is OK, but the seams are only single stitched, not double stitched. It has padding, but it’s on the light side.I did not get a chance to tryout the solar cells to see if they are up to the rating of 14W because I sent it back and I’m on the hunt for another bag.

Great backpack! Charges your phone with green energy! I recommend also buying external battery pack. Then you can charge at night too.

Used it and it charged then i came back to 5 mins later and it dropped in percentage. It came a little damage stitching was not all great and some scuffs on the solor panel.

Works as advertised! Chargers my chargers when I don’t have a wall outlet when I was backpacking in Europe. I felt safe wearing it even around crowds but definitely still be alert when traveling with it.
