+ It’s a reasonably comfortable product and more comfy than standard wireless or wired headphones, which was the main reason I bought it.+ Industry standard battery life for wireless headphones. Around 5 to 6 hours.+ Very good sound quality. Better than expected and similar to Apple wired headphones that I had been wearing.+ Manual clear and easy to understand for pairing, charging etc.+ Plus, you can sleep with them and have some relaxing music to wake you up for the alarm clock!- Build quality is sub-standard. The packaging feels and indeed is cheap. The battery and bluetooth is an integrated 1 inch squared solid block (5mm thickness) – and I’ve got to sleep on it(!) Easy to peel the rubber and see the PCB board. There is no pouch for this bluetooth / battery module, so you have to fiddle around in the hollow band to find the battery which is a hassle and I can imagine while sleeping and unconsciously moving through the night, this module moves about. I could have thought of several ways to get around all of this.- Speakers on either side are easy to move from place and can lower the “surround sound” element i.e one side will sound louder than the other. They move when shifting to your side, for example.- The 5 cm long branding at the front “SleepPhones; pajamas for your ears” is rather childish. I think the slogan should be removed from the product and the branding to be more subtle particularly as I use them for my TV and laptop / desktop.- I can’t quite help feeling a bit fleeced for the money paid. There is nothing else on the market and therefore hey, the creator can charge whatever they want but I welcome some competition, or at least have the maker fix some basics if they wish to charge this price. For a premium product, I expect premium materials, packaging and implementation of concept.I didn’t by any chance get a prototype? I joke but please take my feedback on board if the creator / company is reading this.I must say though that it does the job which no other product does. Price and quality must be in sync though!

Stopped working after only a month! Arrived 10th August, stopped working 26th September.To operate you hold down the power button for 5 seconds and it should light up and you should hear an audible “power on” confirmation.Have been working fine and I love them. But now when I hold down the power button nothing happens, no lights and no audible power on confirmation and my bluetooth devices can no longer find the sleepphones even though they have been previously paired with the device, it’s like it doesn’t exist.This is a revised review because I contacted the manufacturer and their response was great. They offered to send me a new wireless module if I returned the faulty module to them and even offered to refund $10 for postage. As Amazon has the most efficient, user friendly return service I’ve ever used, I’ve decided to return it via Amazon, but I appreciated the manufacturer offering.I went wireless when 3 pairs of the wired sleepphones purchased through Amazon broke because of the wiring connections. This was frustrating because earlier models with the plastic wiring and straight jack (current ones angled), worked great.I probably wouldn’t go back to wired now so I hope the faulty module was bad luck because I love this concept and want it to work.I’ve ordered a replacement via Amazon and will report back on performance in a month or two, hopefully it’s good news!

Good and bad. Much more comfortable than using earphones/headphones in bed but there’s room for improvement. The technology is excellent but the way the product is put together just feels too basic. The logo label came off immediately and the head band became slack after a couple of uses, the quality of this element of the product does not live up to the packaging it came in.Please note- I’d recommend them to anybody struggling with earphones/head phones. I personally just find myself irritated having to readjust the head band and the internal phones. It’s such a good idea and it’s a shame that it’s not been made with a more durable fabric and a little adjustable elastic for sizing/keeping phones in place.

Unfortunately, I’m a very light sleeper and need 7-8 hours a night. My husband has sleep apnea and snores. I’m addicted to these headphones and they have been a godsend. That said, this is the 4TH PAIR IN 5 YEARS!!! They have somehow managed to create a product that self destructs immediately AFTER the warrantee has expired.The wiring is PATHETIC- it will break and start to cut out right about 1yrThe battery life is barely 6 hours and that is if you get “a good one” cuz they seem to vary a lot. Fully charge and fully run it down several times to get max run time- hopefully you can function on less sleep than me. The up side is that I wake up within 15 minutes or so after it dies so I’m never late to work…..This is THE ONLY sleep headphone design on the market right now, that I know of, that has flat speakers on both sides, battery is flat enough that it’s unnoticeable, and it’s wireless. Sound quality isn’t too bad either compared to the Chinese knockoffs.But trust me! I’m searching high and low for a better quality product! $100 a pair?!?!?!??!? A year?!?!?!?? MY GOD!! My Parrots and my Bohms cost that (warehouse deals)!!!And after YEARS of MULTIPLE COMPLAINTS from consumers, the company has done NOTHING to improve the productI’m taking my broken wires pairs over to a friend who does fine electronic repair and see if he can replace the wires with sturdier ones- then maybe he can design a better quality headphone that we can market that you will only have to buy ONCE!I don’t appreciate being part of someone’s business plan of “crappy quality=repeat buyer” !! I would be embarrassed and mortified if this was something I made and sold to people! Why in the world would someone waste such a great idea on crappy craftsmanship????? I’d love to buy the company and build them RIGHT!!

Very expensive for the technology involved. We’ve had 2 sets break within a year, just stopped charging. Works well when it is working though but think I’ll try one of the cheaper running wireless bands in future

I feel obligated to post a review for these given I nearly was swayed from buying them due to some reviews. Let’s preface this quickly: I absolutely love these things and as far as I’m concerned they were worth the money even though they were a bit of a steep expense.Firstly, I saw people complaining about how the battery is difficult to access. I’m a bit confused by this. Only someone from an infomercial would struggle to extract the battery from these unless you really managed to jam it clear up into the band where it, frankly, should not be. The pack is right at the velcro opening. It is easy to insert and remove. It also charges quickly and is extraordinarily easy to pair with your bluetooth headset. If you plug your phone into say your car sound system, when you remove it your SleepPhones will immediately reconnect if they are still on.Secondly, the battery life. I turn these on in the morning before I leave for work and leave them on through my eight hour work day, so they are on and running for about nine hours. I’ve yet have the battery die on me in that time. I imagine the volume you have them at judges how long your battery will last, my volume is typically at half. I saw many people saying these will only last six hours but that is definitely not the case if you keep the volume at a moderate level.Thirdly, sound quality. So much better than I expected. Before I purchased these I wore a set of Philips Fidelo on ears at my job which have outstanding sound and was pleasantly surprised by these SleepPhones; despite the speakers being so small the sound is excellent and clear. I saw complaints about them not being loud enough but I have never needed to have them at maximum volume… they do in fact get quite loud.I use these both to sleep and to my job where we are not supposed to be wearing headphones at all. I work in a very noisy backroom and am one of the three people out of 30+ that actually has to use some amount of concentration to get my job done. If you need some comfy, undercover headphones, I highly recommend these. I have been wearing on ear headphones for years that make my helix and conch piercings hurt from the constant pressure, if you have lots of ear piercings and are looking for a comfy headset, I highly recommend these! And of course, they are surprisingly nice to sleep in. If you listen to ASMR videos these will change the way you enjoy ASMR videos forever. I travel internationally often and I imagine these will be excellent on an intl flight, much more comfortable than on ear headphones or earbuds for 12 hours. The one and only downside to these is that they do move around if you are moving around, but they are easy to adjust regardless. Like I said before, 100$ is a fairly steep price but depending on what you need/want these for, they are worth the price. Thanks AcousticSheep!UPDATE: I’ve owned these for coming up on two years now, I use them 4~5 days a week for up to 9hrs a day. The battery life has not decreased. The wires are perfectly fine. The sound quality has not diminished. You can remove the entire battery pack and headphones and toss the band in the wash with your laundry. The only thing that would make this product better would be some non-slip silicone. Even without that, I’m more than happy with this purchase and I’d happily buy again.

These things are great. I take these on deployments. Sharing tents with people who snore, gun fire (I know this sounds strange) and explosions….it drowns it all out. Why do I need that? Well…..in order to perform my job, I need some sleep. And these don’t block out enough sound to the point where I don’t know when I need to actually “react” but enough to pass out. The sound quality isn’t great but it works for what it is. Isn’t a Bose so don’t expect Bose sound. They do spin around your head at times but unless you are dead, you’re going to move and so will these. But by the time you notice, it’s time to get up. Ignore the reviews that complain about that. That’s like complaining about your tires wearing out after 50k miles. It’s going to happen. I guess you could nail it to your head or duct tape it.

These headphones are a great concept. Sound quality is good, bluetooth pairing is easy, battery life is decent – when it works. After less than a month, plugged them in to charge and they won’t charge. Exchanged for a new pair. Will see what happens. For the price, you should definitely get more than a month of use. Interesting to note that on the company’s website, their year warranty does not cover the battery. Hmmm. If anything seems amiss prior to the end of Amazon’s 30 day return policy, we’ll definitely return the new pair and look for something else.
