The app comes with a library of gifs which you can select to play on the screen, however, it is very difficult to get things to work like you want them to. After about two hours of fiddling with it I still have been unable to figure out how to turn a video into a gif file (because that’s the only way it will play a video) and then add it to the app so that it will play. I still have not figured out how to do that. This thing could have been great, but it’s too much work for too little reward. This is an ok backpack with a cool screen. The pros are it’s fun to put pixel art or sayings on the backpack. It also came with a battery backup that powers it. Nice touch that works well and keeps it going for awhile. The cons are the resolution is just ok. Somethings are hard to make out and I have to be careful when picking things. The app is ok but not great. It is the weak link in this. An annoying issue is the app holds all the data. Which means that is I load something on and my wife wants to edit it she can’t. She would have to redesign it and upload it to the backpack again. Not sure why it doesn’t have a download from backpack feature but none that I could find.

Overall I like the bag pack. For the price I paid I was actually expecting a clear graphic to show on the screen, like the ones I saw in the state I recently visited.

My son (10) really enjoyed this for 6 months or so before half the leds on the screen went out. It was a little difficult to set up but he got the hang of it.
