Amazfit has launched its Bip U Pro smartwatch on Amazon, as it makes its mark on the budget smartwatch market.
For those that have lost track of Amazfit’s bewildering budget smartwatches, the Bip U was launched in the summer in India. It’s also called the Amazfit Pop in some markets.
The Amazfit Bip U features a 1.42-inch display, up from 1.28-inch on the Bip S. The resolution has doubled, from 176×176 to 320×302, but it’s a TFT display.
There’s SpO2 tracking, stress monitoring and breathing training, and your vitals are tracked with the Amazfit BioTracker 2 module.
That will also help provide data from over 60 workout profiles.
The Amazfit Bip U Pro was announced later, and adds GPS, which is missing on the standard Bip U. It also supports Amazon Alexa.
But crucially, we now know pricing for this budget smartwatch.
The Amazfit Bip U has launched on Amazon for $59.99 – and is currently discounted to $49.99.
And the Amazfit Bip U Pro has an MSRP of $69.99, essentially replacing the Bip S. However, it’s out of stock currently on Amazon.
Don’t forget that Amazfit has the Amazfit GTS2 Mini at $99.99 and, of course, the Amazfit GTS2 and GTR2 at $179.99
That means there’s even more choice for those looking for a budget smartwatch.
We’re working on our review of the Bip U – watch this space.
