Keepa Safe Distance Wearable Social Distancing Device for Children
Keepa is a Social Distancing Monitor aiming to help children build the awareness of keeping a safe social distance and in a more joyful way. when kids are not at a safe social distance in public, they’ll receive warnings from their Keepa. Keepa safe distance can detect people within 2 meters, and gives the user a nudge, reminding him/her to keep a safe social distance.
- Switchable alert distance – With an ultrasonic sensor, The Keepa Wearable Social Distancing Monitor can detect people within 2m (which can be also toggled to 1m) to the front with a detection angle of ±15 degrees. Once a person is detected within that range, Keepa will display warning lights, emit a sound or vibrate to alert the user. The default safe distance is set to 2m, but this can be toggled to 1m by holding the Mode Button for about 5s.
- Multiple Alert Modes – The built-in RGB LEDs, buzzer and vibration motor enable Keepa Social Distancing Alarm to issue different alerts which are most suited to the situation in which users wish to maintain a safe social distance. The default warning method is RGB LEDs displaying RED light when someone is within the defined safe social distance. The alert modes can be toggled between displaying red warning lights, emitting a buzzer warning sound and vibration by pressing the Mode Button.
- Multiple ways to wear Keepa – The Keepa Wearable Social Distancing Device for Children comes with a wrist strap and lanyard for ease of use. You can wear it on your wrist as a electronic social distancing wristband, hang it on your neck or attach it to a schoolbag as a pendant proximity device.
- Rechargeable Li-ion Battery – Keepa Personal Social Distancing Proximity Sensor comes with a rechargeable 410mAh li-ion battery, which enables standby operation of up to 10 hours or more (light warning mode). Users can use a micro-USB cable for charging.

Such is a lovely device. It’s a great reminder to stay safe distance especially hanging out. I gave it to next door kid as a Halloween gift so he wears it in school and later in the afternoon, in the playground. I didn’t saw anything similar.
