So…since these just came out of the market, I knew I should write a review. I work behind my desk for a living and when I get home, 80% of the time you can find me on pc or console. I saw these glasses at their Dreamhack Atlanta booth and was curious to know if they would help my eye strain. I wished I remember who I talked too, she was incredible and informative, but she straight up said you’re not going to notice a difference right away but if you’re behind a screen for more than 40 hours a week you’ll notice it. She was right. Since I’ve been back from Dreamhack, my eyes were completely shot for the week until these came in the mail. I was skeptical at first, but the really do make a difference. Im able to knock out reports and stay focused on the screen for much longer now. At the end of the day, my eyes feel hydrated and I can keep them open. Buy a pair if you’re eyes are strained or youre getting headaches. You wont regret it. I attached a picture showing how they handle fluorescent lights in my office. Crazy!

Great glasses. Seriously. Eye strain is something I’ve experienced after long days of work and game. By the end of the night my eyes are exhausted, dry, and I’ve frequently left the end of the night with headaches. After using the eyewear, I did see improvement on how I felt at the end of the night. Anything that can improve the longevity I am able to game and work effectively I will buy into. After using the glasses for a week straight, the biggest positive is how comfortable they are. I work in front of a computer display my entire day. 8 hours during a day job, another 6-8 as a gamer. I’ve not worn glasses since I was a young kid, to say that I’m not used to wearing something on my face the whole day is an understatement.Pros:-Extremely comfortable.-High quality frames, not lame plastic.-Stands up to blue light test. Does prevent substantial amount of blue light from passing through lens.Cons:-Spring hinges on the arms of the glasses made it so the frames didn’t hug my head as tightly as I would have liked. Still very happy with how comfortable these are however.I’d give it the thorough look if you’re in the technology field or find yourself just more than the average gamer. Stamp of approval. Highly recommend.

I ment to do a 5 star on shipping, it was pretty steady. The glasses are great, even for long time gaming use.

I’ve tried the rest:J+S Vision Blue Light Shield $28.99Pro: Inexpensive, light, comfortable on face, no magnification.Con:Right eye pain, yellow tint detracts from colors on screen and might be the cause of slight eye pain in both eyes.GAMEKING Ultra G603 $39.99Pro: Inexpensive, very light, comfortable on face.Con: Yellow tint detracts from colors on screen with slight magnification might be the cause of right eye pain.Gunnar Optiks Valve $69.99Pro: Light weight, nice looking.Con: Yellow tint detracts from colors on screen with slight magnification might be the cause of right eye pain….Now i’ve tried, what i believe to be the best.Hyper X $99.99Pro: Video on Amazon product page shows blue light being reflected from lens, meaning the blue light does not penetrate the lens. Light weight. Clear lens. No eye pain in either eye.Con: Expensive, frame is small, no lens cleaner wipe, under belly of frame is red, tend to slide down nose, will need to purchase frame strap to reduce frames from sliding, no nose hinges. These are the 1st edition, i may give these to a family member when version 2.0 is released. Hope they read these cons and fix them in the next edition. I noticed Amazons availability of these glasses go from 15 to 0 with my purchase reducing this number but i don’t see corresponding reviews with these purchases. I hope more buyers review this item in the future. Hope this pro and con list helps someone. Any questions, please feel free to post on this page and i will do my best to respond.Update: glasses seem to work as intended, sessions of gaming or longer then usual hours in fron of television no longer results in headaches. However, after extended wearing, i noticed that these galsses tend to put a lot of pressure on the bridge of the nose which results in pain and very indented red marks. Also, i needed to pick up from rei a pair of the around the neck lens holders as the glassess tend to slip down the nose as well. I would still recommend this glasses thpugh.

I play video games pretty often almost everyday for easily 8+ hours if I have the chance outside of work. Though I got these glasses with the mindset of, “You get what you pay for.” Now when I first got these glasses I was very impressed with the box, and the appearance of the glasses. Though after 2 weeks of use I noticed many things good, & bad about these glasses.Pros:- They have very minimal color distortion but still tints yellow slightly though not very noticeable.- These glasses look very nice, could even wear them out if I so felt like it.- I did notice a slight eye strain relief after gaming, though I still found it hard to fall asleep at night afterwards.- Carrying case, and bag is fairly nice. Bag doubles as a microfiber cleaning cloth.- Never had any problems with eye ball reflections, and etc. Though if I had a light on in the room I may notice that the inside lense shines the surrounding area slightly, but that’s a normal glasses thing. Takes time to get used to it.- Hinges look like they are well made and can last.Cons:- The area where the nose pad rests feels weird after removing them. Most likely due to the pressure it applied to my nose. (Keep in mind I wore them for 2 weeks, and still rain into this problem. Could just be a personal issue.)- To me they weren’t very comfortable, after a good period of time It felt like a relief to simply take them off for both my head, and my eyes. (I have a fairly normal sized head, and the glasses creaked for a few days when I first wore them.)- Feel very cheap, any time I clean them (which is often) it feels like I have to be super careful not to break them.- They get dirty EASILY simply touching the lenses while trying to adjust them, or your eye brows touching them, will leave a mark! The sad truth is even with a microfiber cleaning cloth, these glasses require a good period of cleaning in order to be clear again, otherwise you will be left with smudged/fogged lenses.- They are very slightly magnified though not super noticeable, or troublesome- Literally has MADE IN CHINA on the inside of the frame. Seriously I paid $100 for a pair of gaming glasses I’d rather see a logo then that for this price range. The Final Judgement:I say for the price, and build quality they are 6.5/10. They are no way worth $100 in my eyes, possibly $59.99-$79.99 would do the trick. However if you want a pair of glasses to help slightly with eye strain, eye redness though expensive these do help. Would I recommend? No, mainly due to the high price factor, you can find many that do the same for cheaper.

Really like the fit of the glasses . The glasses actually have a slight blue hint if looked at the right angle but way better than having a ugly yellow tinted other gaming glasses have. After a months of using them I have notice less strain in my eyes and have an easier time falling asleep then when not using the glasses. Also very slight magnification but nothing noticeable unless really looking for it.

The pair I got were not new as claimed and also damaged. Their were finger prints all over them out of the box and the top left lens is scuffed/ not coated properly. For 100$ you’d thing they be perfect condition or maybe someone swap returned. If I get a different pair I’ll change my review.

Not fully convinced they work but i have not gotten a head ache or anything using them. If I don’t use them I do get a small headache so could just be in my head

These glasses do not feel as sturdy as a Gunnar. The plastic and metal inner frames feel cheap and squeaks when lightly pushed outwards or twisted. These would probably not survive a fall on non carpet floors. What you are paying here is for the lens, they are great, no color distortion with great clarity. If you are in need of Asian Fit, these should work perfectly.

100 dollars for gaming glasses. I said “not a chance” the first time I saw these things. I bought other brands, cheaper brands… yellower brands. This time when it came time to replace my gaming glasses I took the dive and bought these, and I’m calling it worth it. I have a beautiful 30 inch monitor, I have a PC that runs any game on the market on maxed out settings, so WHY should I be looking at all of that through a yellow filter? I was used to it, but maaaan is it nice to have almost no color distortion whatsoever. I’m finally looking at the games as they’re meant to be seen in all their glory.I have experienced no eye fatigue while wearing these, so I know they’re doing their job well. They’re also quite comfortable. I wear them at a pretty steep angle because I rest the arms on the tops of my headphone pads rather than inside the pads, and they feel fine, I forget they’re on after a few minutes. If you’re on the fence I would say to just go for it.

After working from hime and staring at a monitor for 8+ hours, I started developing eye strain. I would look at the screen and after a few minutes my eyes would be irritated. These glasses have helped resolve the strain/irritation. I can now look at the screen for hours and my eyes feel more refreshed. As another reviewer pointed out, my only minor issue with these is having to clean the lenses because they do smudge easily. I would still highly recommend this product!
