Great product and for a great price. I opted to go for the orange pack and special when purchasing another bladder for 50%off. I’ve researched higher brand companies and this seem to be closely on par with the others. What caught my attention was the insulation to keep the bladder cool (supposedly for 4 hours) and insulation on the hose. From seeing it physically the insulation on the hose, is more of a covering layer than thicker functional piece. The pack has plenty of compartments. I was especially surprised when I saw pockets on the sides which is a plus on my book. Though this pack had many features, you can tell the durability of the material and zippers they use. This pack should’ve came with “handle with care” sign as it might not be able to withstand tougher conditions and long stretch usage. The padding on the back was a great addition, though airflow was limited. The pack is lightweight and depending on the amount of liquid and your everyday packing requirements, it would easily reach 5lbs in weight. This pack reminds me of the kind of backpacks made back in highschool (10yrs ago), which might break in a couple of weeks with 30lbs of weight. As stated “handle with care” and it should take care of you.

Very well made and high quality camelback backpack for a fraction of the cost if I would buy the REAL Camelback. The bladder is made with very high quality plastic and I really liked the mouth piece cap to keep it clean from dirt when I place the backpack down. It is compact enough to stay light weight but enough pockets for you to put your phone, first aid kit, food, a light jacket if you pack it right. I used it to hike all over Yosemite and it is very comfortable to wear.

For reference I’m a short, slightly pudgy woman who is 4’8″, 130lbs with broad shoulders. I bought this for trail running on hot days when I need more water to get me through a 6 mile run. I love all the pockets for storage and my water stayed cool for the entire run. However, into mile one, I wanted to rip this thing off of me. In order to secure it properly to my hips I had to tighten the waist belt quite a bit which made the shoulder straps pop off my shoulders leaving an inch gap between the straps and my shoulders. Also the mouth spicket kept rubbing against my arm. I’m sure this would work great for an average sized adult. Keeping it for my hubby to use.

I bought this pack for a hiking vacation I took to the Southwestern United States. I hiked multiple terrains out there (Hualapai Mtns, Grand Canyon, Valley of Fire, and Red Rock Canyon) and this little pack did very well to carry what I needed. The bladder fits 2 L of water and kept the water reasonably cool throughout the day. In addition to the bladder, the pack fit an iPad Air 2 (super important for me because I was using this as a camera), sunscreen, packable long sleeve pull over (not heavy weight like a fleece, but like a dry fit type shirt), charger, iPhone, chapstick, credentials (credit card, ID, just in case), and some snacks. I’m glad I didn’t spend a million dollars on a Camelbak – this was the perfect size for me and didn’t feel heavy at any point. To clean it, I just rinsed it with hot water and then hung it dry. I like that the tube is completely detachable from the bladder for cleaning purposes. For sizing purposes, I’m a female, 5′ 6″, 150 lbs. and had no problems.*UPDATE FEB 2020*A couple of notes since I’ve been using this:I find that if I put cold water in the bladder, the outside fabric at the bottom feels wet like it’s leaking. This is due to the condensation from the bladder, so nothing I can do about that. I’ve stopped putting cold, cold water in the bladder. But it dries relatively quickly.Other than that, this pack has now been many, many places and is holding up great. Relocated to AZ and it gets used almost every weekend. I’ve gotten lazy and started throwing it in the freezer once drained and empty so bacteria doesn’t grow instead of hanging up to dry. I do wish it came with a cleaning pipe for the tube. You can take the rubber valve off the tube to clean it so it doesn’t get build up so that’s nice. Still plugging along. Definitely would not recommend for long day hikes in the heat though. 2L is not enough water in my experience.

Used it for my Spartan Beast. Held my water and protein bars too. Plenty of room for snacks and is very comfortable to run it. Would definitely recommend.

Ive had this backpack for over 3 months now and its held up great!Pros: Lightweight and easy to run with, two clip on belts to keep it close to your back, insulated pouch, lots of zippers to store stuff, bladder is durable.Cons: Pockets on the front won’t fit a phone bigger than an iPhone 6/7/8 (mine just barely fits), insulated pouch is the one closest to your back, so it sometimes gets warmed up by body heat, or can make your back really sweat, I got the blue backpack and mine didn’t come with a cover for the bladder hose, (but my friend got the orange one and he did) so the water that sits in the hose gets really warm if its hot out and its gross when you first drink it.If you like to run short distances and you want a small back to carry a few things with you, but mostly water, then this is a great bag for that. If you like to go hiking or go running longer distance, you may want to invest in a bag that has more storage, and make sure that the insulated bladder pouch is not in a pocket that sits on your back.

I am absolutely in love with this camelback!I have a YouTube video (JoyfulSelah) explaining it further, but since Amazon blocks outside links I’ll post some pictures and whatnot on here as well. If you want to find it over there I will make it very easy to find and add the thumbnail photo here as well.Overall, sturdy, lightweight, attractive, comfortable, well made, and 100% worth it! I think the price point is good, the adjustability for fit is great, and the quality is overall impressive. We bought the red for my husband 6/18.

Awesome back pack, spent ages looking at various packs and water bladders, researching reviews etc. Anyone looking for a bladder pack and rucksack for their stuff then this is the pack for you!!!It is ergonomically great fit- perfect for running, won’t move about.Perfect for phone, keys, collapsing dog bowl for walkers etc.Perfect for cycling- it ticks all the boxes- I needed my pack to be versatile for lots of different activities. It’s excellent quality, it came super fast. The compartments are easily accessible and perfect for essentials. The bladder and tube is high quality and goes in thermal insulated compartment in back. It’s perfect- totally by accident it perfectly matches in colour (blue) my evo nightvision cycling jacket. So so happy with this purchase!!!Highly recommend

I took this out for the first time on 4/28/18 for an 11mile round trip hike through the superstition mnts in arizona. It was about a max of 85 deg by the time we finished the hike. Here mt first impression, the backback has a comfortable fit, i didnt find myself adjusting after i got the straps in place. There are plenty of pockets, 1 for the bladder a 2nd main compartment for food and snacks and then there are 2 front pockets and 2 smaller pockets that wrap around your waist. With the bladder completely full i found it hars to fit much jn the large compartment, I had a small bowl of fruit and a plastic square container about 5×5 and i could have maybe fit a few other thing like sunscreen or small first aid but thats pushing it. Def. Wouldnt be able to fit food and a change of clothes which is a bit disappointing, rhe pictures back the backpack look bigger then it actually is, i thought it would be more of a school size bag. The 2 front pockets are nice for easy acces item’s or to hold id’s and keys. The two pockets on the waist wrap are very small i was hoping to be able to fit my s8 note in there so i can eaisly grab it for pictures but it wasn’t even close to fitting, my friend could fit her reg. S8 but it was very snug which would be hard to get in and out without taking the pack off. I found the bladder to stay cold but the ice melted quickly. One thing i love is that me being a bigger girl with a large chest i find this bag to buckle around both areas as the straps are adjustable that j and of itself was great as others are to small to buckle around fully. The bladder for me did have leaking issues so i just strapped it upward which didnt bother me. Overall its a good day pack and recommended.

had this bag for over a year now, use it frequently for mountain biking and took it a few times climbing. took rain , mud and all kinds of crap and been through the washer god knows anytime and its still clean and tidy , no loose stitches or frayed edges. nice and roomy for a few tools , inner tube and snacks with the bladder full.insulation is decent keeps water cold for a few hours , it’s not fantastic but definitely helps and notice the difference from the water that stays sat in the pipe vs water in the bag!highly recommend for the price

I bought this pack for running and whilst I do like it, it’s quite bulky so wouldn’t use it for races. However it is very useful for leisurely weekends where you may do a long run with breaks, a nice long cycle or just a long walk. The only criticism I have is I find the straw for the water hard to use, apart from that I think it’s a great pack for active people on the go who want to take a few bits with them and stay hydrated.

I needed a small backpack for traveling and this was a perfect fit. I used it for the first time on some hikes in Colorado. The olive backpack arrived as advertised and was a very comfortable fit. The insulation layer worked very well to keep the water cold. I added a little bit of ice to the hydration bladder and it kept it cold (not ice cold) for at least six hours. We also put a full-size sub in with the bladder and it fit with ease. I may have been able to squeeze another sub in or some fruit. In the main storage pocket, I had two small umbrellas, a long-sleeved shirt, and some snacks for the hike. I wasn’t able to fit my jacket in because it was too bulky. The assistant pocket easily fit my rechargeable battery and the quick access pocket had two ponchos and sunscreen. I also had two water bottles in the side mesh pockets. I am very happy with the backpack. It is quality product that is great for hiking or even a day at a theme park. I look forward to using this backpack with future travels.

I bought one for myself, a replacement of a Swiss Gear bag, that I haven’t been able to find the exact same one, and it is starting to look a little beat up. I don’t intend to use the bladder. I mainly bought it because it is compact, insulated, and has multiple pockets. I love this bag! I can fit a 12′ Lenovo Yoga laptop and charger, and it’s just a little snug, but it feels protected. I took this bag on my flight. In addition to packing the laptop, I was able to attach my neck pillow, pack some snacks, two books, a bottle of water, and other essentials. You have to pack a certain way, as the pockets are a bit narrow, but this bag fits a lot of stuff! My husband was impressed with what I was able to fit, so I bought one for him. I’m tempted to stock up on a few, for when this one gets too beat up to use, or to give out as gifts. I can’t really speak to the durability of this bag, as I’ve only had it for about a month.
