There was a sticker on the end of the box that said “Before you open the box, call this 800 number to activate the product.” After several tries and with different phones, I got the same message; “The number you have called has changed or is no Longer in Service, check your number and try again.”

Well . . . my mother fell and broke her hip, and the device loudly alerted me right off, and it contacted the rescue squad. She very likely would have laid there until I roused that morning, otherwise, had I not purchased the device.Not sure if she manually triggered the alarm, or if the fall detector did the job, since I had purchased both, and she was wearing both.

The product is one that will easy for our parents to use. There are options for use, the wrist option or around the neck are pluses. Great system for older individuals and ones that are not so young.
