The fabric is well put-together and soft. The zippers are decent quality. It will likely keep you as warm as any other scarf. However, don’t expect much from the heating element. The heating element is approximately 5 inches by 3.5 inches. The heat given off is puny and imperceptible. I didn’t really expect much so I’m not shocked. I actually expect to use the heating element for something else.

Received the scarf and immediately put in brand new fresh AA batteries. The little red light came on saying it was working. But I waited more than 30 minutes hoping the scarf would get warm. Didn’t happen. And stupid me. I didn’t realize the product was a no return product. I can’t even send this useless item back.Do not buy this. I really was hoping this would work.

I own 2 of these heated scarves and bought more for Christmas gifts this year. These are not heating pads. The heat out-put is mild unless it’s 15° or below. When it’s below zero you absolutely feel the heat!!
