gets warm as stated. however it is not ideal for skiing. it is too thick and you can feel the wires once in the ski boots, especially if you are an advanced to intermediate skier (usually tighten the boots a lot more than beginners). If you are going to use it with regular shoes, go for it. If for skiing better invest in hottronics or something more low profile.

The socks are on the thicker side so putting tight fitting shoes on may be a challenge. I mostly love them when staying home in my freezing house. I put them on upside down so the heating element is on the bottom of my feet. Then I put on another pair of loosely fitting socks over these to hold the heat in and feel real cushy. Doing this helps the batteries last a long time because you can keep the setting on low.

I bought these socks to use at hockey games, because we sit on the ice and it’s freezing cold. These socks keep my feet so warm that you’d never know I was in the cold. I only wish there was a way to also warm my legs. I use a wheelchair full time and am not able to walk. My circulation is poor, so heating my legs is also important. The socks are very thick and help, but the heating element is only on the top of the foot. It doesn’t extend up the leg. The socks could also be a little longer in length and fit snug. I’m 5’2″, so a size up in the socks would have been better for me. It’s still a good product that I’d order again.

You can’t imagine the difference these socks make working in the cold. My issue: I work in the cold at night. Buying winter boots and wearing wool socks is great but my feet sweat. I have to drive a half hour and I’m in the office for about 2 hours THEN IN THE ELEMENTS. These socks are perfect because you turn them on when you are ready. a PERFECT solution. BTW, I’m WV about 1.5 hrs from Washington DC (just so you know the weather conditions in my area)

Perfect for my winter vacation up north! My Floridian Feet are not used to getting cold.When it drops down to 60 degrees down here we start breaking out our sweaters…so you know we cant handle 25 degrees and snow. So these socks were amazing to keep my feet warm.Comfortable, warm and great value.Thanks a lot!

arrived in a nice box….batteries both charged and ready to go….required sometime to warm up….only worried i had was the weight or the discomfort it may bring having the battery strapped to my legs….guess what? not a problem….i just wear them like normal socks…except they make my feet warm and toasty…..gonna wear them when I go ice fishing, shoeing, and skiing. or just walking the dog or around the house hahaVery nice product! no complaints

Disappointed in them, they did not get warm or even stay warm when I was just in the house. I don’t think I would trust them outside. Stick with the wool socks for winter.

These socks are way better than I expected. I’ve used heated insoles in the past and my feet would still freeze due to poor circulation to my feet. I use these socks while hunting in the winter months and couldn’t be happier.great purchase and good price
