Albeit, the entry price of about $30 might be offsetting, the bottom lines are:- it works- easy to use albeit you need to explore the apps hidden buttons to work, like the blue tooth is there but too imbedded in graphics to first understand- easy to chargeHas free form, imbedded patterns, designs, varies to music if wanted, custom signsWe used this for a burning man like event an a car show and a HIT.drawbacks though minor- love the music variances but they were only displayed in a variety of bar like patterns. Blah. Would rather it used ALL THE SPACE to blast the music responses and color changes: think race like.- battery recharge easy but life only good for about 30 min or hour at best.However I would recommend

The hats are enjoyable and fun. Great at party and you will enjoy them at first. Now the sad part, I have ordered over 6 of these hats and so far everyone of them after pulling the flap open over and over to charge them, the wires break. And I do mean everyone. Good thing if you catch it in time, so far they have replaced thems and sent a new one. So as long as you don’t use it much, they are fun. I use mine a lot, like several times a week.

The fit for this hat is comfortable, but I suggest that you add some tissue around the battery pack as it sits right near your temple and can be uncomfortable after some time.its rechargeable with a USB connection, so you get about 3 hours worth of functionalityHowever, you will need to download an app to your mobile device and connect via Bluetooth in order to change anything for the hat and the app is not very intuitive. I spent maybe a good 20 – 30 minutes trying to figure it out since the app is made by a Chinese developer. I went on YouTube and found someone explaning how it works, however, again, that YouTuber was Chinese.

Seeing this cap made me think that is so cool I can 8 bit some DIYs. Well as expected it’s pretty cool. APP has some glitches (using on iPhone), but I was able to make some cool gamer 8bits and wear it to work. Received many compliments even people wanting to get themselves one. I work in manufacturing and know a lot about mass production etc. had the company taken the time to incorporate a better cap design this would be a killer sale. Like people stated the cap front is ridiculously huge, but to hold the CCA and the LED light panel it’s gotta be. This isn’t one of those nice screen display LEDs (you think for the charging price it would be!). But I wear my caps backwards so passed those negative comments. Wearing it to the front it will look awkward, but even backwards as you can see in my photograph you end up with two bunch up corners looking like horns. The battery pack is the second issue, a slimmer housing would have been more efficient. Also the battery for 1 does not last the 5 hours claimed in the description at most I got a good 1hour and 1/2 before I had to sit it back down to recharge for 3 hours (in a 10 hour work day) Yes I had to charge it twice given the recommend charge time on the description. So if your only going to enjoy this out or at a party for an hour then buy it. I tried to provide photos of comparison to my regular caps and also to show the poor material and quality execution on this product. I think the seller should have done better research. There’s going to be a lot of returns on this.Hopes this helps!
