This watch is a great value and very cool design. It looks like the photos and it is heavy and durable. The links remove fairly easily to adjust size, but understand it is a thick and rugged looking watch and would not fit slim wrists that well. The lighted marks are very bright and easy to see. You can learn to read them after getting used to it for a while, and it looks more like a metal band/bracelet than a watch when it is off.The price was very good, but mine shipped for overseas.Note regarding the color…this watch is a dark grey/black like a “black chrome” it is not paint and appears to be a durable finish. The “screen” in the middle looks like a LCD screen so it is not a true blend into the metal band. It looks fairly good, but it is not a completely stealth watch…it is clear that there is more going on here than just a metal band even when it is off.I am very satisfied, and recommend you give it a try if you think the photos look like something you would like.

Cool watch. If you are a bit geeky like me and dig different style watches I’d say just go for it.To be honest, I actually wanted to purchase this style of watch all the way back in 2006, but couldn’t justify the expense; however, now that the price has come so far down I figured what the heck.The quality of this watch is actually a little higher than I expected on the strap and face itself. I knew that the face was a little washed out based on the other reviews, but it doesn’t take away from the fact that this watch is DIRT CHEAP for what you get.

This is really different and I enjoy it. The design read out is very different, using LEDs to notate hours, minutes, and seconds separately. There are small numbers placed on the outer edges to help you learn the layout… But over time you don’t need them as the point is to count the LEDs that are brightly displayed. The design is clean with a sort of “black chrome” color. Clasp is a little light for such a heavy case though. The watch does not always show the time (as that is how it saves battery power), and requires you to press the top button when you want to see the time, and a second press to display month/day. Display stays lit for a few seconds then turns off until interacted with again. Word of caution when setting: DO NOT RUSH! Take a moment to see the steps clearly, and understand that they have to be done in sequence all in one go. If it times out, you have to start over. It’s easy to do if you don’t rush through it. Very fun product for the price, and cool conversation piece.

I bought this watch with the full expectation of having to replace the band because, as a big guy, very few watches fit my wrist right out of the box. I received one of those “How do you like it” emails a few days after receiving it, and I mentioned in my reply that I could use an extra link or two for the band. I received a reply within one day saying, “Please provide your address and we will send you extra links right away.” I did so, and receied the links within two weeks – not a surprise from China. I performed the link addition myself with the included tool – a very nice touch! – and the band now fits perfectly. I couldn’t be happier with the service!As for the watch, it’s more weighty than I expected from a watch at this price, which is nice. I’m always on the lookout for unique items, and the display on this watch does not disappoint in that area. I look forward to wearing it daily. Thanks!

This is a really neat looking watch and I love the binary idea but unfortunately in my experience it’s just not very practical because it’s almost impossible to tell the time at night or in the dark. In order to read the watch you need to match the light with the corresponding label, but at night you cannot read the labels so it basically becomes a heavy bracelet. I think for the fairly cheap price a binary watch could make a good gift for someone who is a bit geeky like I am, but again I don’t think it’s very practical as far as watches go.

I bought this watch January 9th, 2019 as a gift. Recieved on time and we were all impressed with how cool it actually was, and setting it up was a breeze, although getting used to telling time on it was a bit of a challenge but after a couple days he had it figured out. He loved the looks and the comfort of the band and he actually received several compliments. But unfortunately last night, March 2nd, 2019 the band broke. The pins popped right out as he was lifting up a glass off of the dinner table and of course we couldn’t find where it flew. So needless to say as neat as this watch looked, it is definitely made of very poor quality. Didn’t even last 2 months, we’ve bought cheap watches at Walmart that last a lot longer than this one. Very disappointed.

I got this watch to replace my old Red LED Binary watch, that I have loved for years. This watch is heavy, well built and much brighter and clearer to see. It’s a great look and much more upscale than you would expect for this price range. The instructions are simple to understand and easy to setup.I was concerned when first opening the box and putting on the watch, as it was a stand band, which I often have to replace, due to having smaller wrists, not in case with this watch. The included tool in the box, made removing the needed links and reattaching the band a quick 90 second project and WOW it’s a custom fit watch, with sturdy metal band. Having the perfect tool included to do the job was a HUGE plus, couldn’t be happier with this purchase.

This watch is really cool!!! It really brings out the nerd in you. I really have no idea how water resistant it is, but I’m assuming you don’t want to drink it in a bucket; it will totally survive some rain or a quick splash. I rated this watch 5 stars in how to read because I have worn it for only a few days and I went from being totally confused to actually preferring this way of telling time. Don’t get me wrong though, you will be confused at first, but you will learn just like riding a bicycle. If you want a watch that will confused the world around you. This is the one. One little bonus is that they sent the watch with too many links connected together, but they provided the tool to remove the links to fit your wrist. Very impressed!The one thing that gives this a 4 star rating though is that the clock face is very bright and there is no way to dim it. Nice during the day, but wouldn’t wear it to a theater or dimly lit restaurant.
