I have owned an Apple 5 watch, but liked the additional battery life, and oxygen features. So I decided to get the new one. If you’re trying to monitor health, this is a great watch to own.

I had my original Apple Watch Series 1 since it originally came out and the watch is still in perfect and working conditions. I would have kept it but I was so excited about the the new features the Series 6 has so I decided to purchase. I am extremely pleased with my new purchase. Everything Apple said it does it does extremely well. Love the EKG, the sleep tracking, the oxygen level and for me for the gym the tracking of my workouts.I would definitely recommend. It is a quality product and if you can take care of it I know from my series 1 watch that it will last and is a great investment.

This watch has several issues right off the bat.1) There are syncing issues for music and audiobooks. Some files that have been confirmed to be synced do not play.2) The heart rate sensor has issues too, showing a very elevated heart rate after the watch has been removed.3) Step counter is off by 1k after several days of use. It is supposed to self calibrate, but this has obviously not happened.4) The watch faces do not update data for the complications very frequently. One has to press buttons in order to get a fresh reading. This is frustrating. It should have a much higher refresh rate for the watch faces.5) Lastly, the battery life is a concern. Not sure it would make it through the work day followed by a workout with music and tracking hr.As a longtime apple user, I was surprised to see so many issues, especially in a device costing over $500 and up. This is version 6. These issues should have been addressed by now.My main reason for buying this watch was to have a more accurate fitness watch that also provided connectivity. It seems like there was a lot of emphasis on bells and whistles and too little emphasis on quality control.
