i’ve gone through a handful of headbands to try and prevent sweat from dripping onto the matt while i’m in kickboxing class. i sweat alot, particularly from my head, and nothing has been able to keep all the drops, let alone puddles, from forming around my training bag. this can actually be dangerous b/c we train barefoot and whether i’m drilling on punches or kicks, when i plant a foot on these drops of sweat i slip right in the middle of a dynamic movement. this has led me to have to wring out other headbands or wipe down the matt mid-session, which is disruptive. this headband has changed all that. i can go a full hour long class with zero drops of sweat from my head. very few drops will fall from my neck, arms, etc., but nothing from the head so this saaka x-band is doing it’s job.i’ll admit it’s honestly not the most stylish headband, the “front” and “back” of this just do not work well together aesthetically, and the multifunctional uses are unecessary for me, but i also think all the extra fabric that can be unfolded for use as a mask or head cover create even more sweat absorption. if you want maximum sweat absorption and don’t mind the odd styling, this is your solution.to saaka brand, if you made a similar product with the same amount of fabric, but without the multifunctional uses which seem to be the cause of the odd clash between the front and back of this, i’d buy it!
