This thing is amazing. I saw something like it being jokingly advertised on social media but I actually wanted it as soon as I saw it. I first bought one from a non-amazon company and it was pretty crummy; this is the only manufacturer that does this the right way with good materials!The stand itself is incredibly versatile: you can wear it around your neck and sit, stand, or lay in almost any position while keeping your phone in a comfortable line-of-sight. The most important, desired functionality for me was to be able to use this to watch YouTube, etc comfortably in my bed, and it did not disappoint! I have yet to find a posture or situation where this could not act as the perfect stand for me while I was laying in bed. Seriously, this stand allows you to position your phone at any height, angle, or tilt that you like and it stays exactly like that until you move it againThe only minor issues I’ve had with this stand is that a VERY minor kink is now present in one area of the stand where I usually (pretty forcefully) bend it at a sharp angle. I’m not super careful with many of my items and this is much moreso my fault than the manufacturer’s – i bend it pretty forcefully in that spot very often. And, the kink itself is very small and, as of today, is still only a visible one; it doesn’t impede the stand’s functionality at all. Also, the grippy part is really, really strong so no need to wonder whether your phone is too large or heavy!Second, I would recommend getting the model with the tablet holder, even if you’re just using it for a smart phone. The reason I recommend that is that the phone holder it always comes with grips your phone by the skinny sides and can make texting kind of a pain in the butt. With the tablet stand, I’m able to grip my phone with the clamp ‘fingers’ gripping the top and the bottom instead which makes typing without plucking my phone from the stand much easier. For reference on how large of a phone the tablet holder can handle when it’s gripping your phone longways from the bottom and top: I have a Pixel XL 3 and the tablet holder accommodates such a top/bottom hold on it. Doing so represents the outer limit of the tablet holder’s effective width.

THIS. IS. MY. GAME. CHANGER. I friggin LOVE this thing!!!!! Why didn’t i buy this sooner???? I actually don’t use it the way i thought i would. I’ve only once used it around my neck because it’s actually uncomfortable that way. But I’ve used it propped up on my chest while sitting in my recliner. I’ve used it in bed a LOT, Especially when i can’t sleep but my arms are super tired, i just bend it to be positioned in front of my face and my hand is comfortably supported as i hold onto the arm of the stand. And i can comfortably scroll through any book I’m reading or app I’m using without having to hold up my phone or my own arms. Interesting how handy this has become for me. I do a lot of reading/video-watching while taking notes so it has been VERY useful in giving me a hands-free setup. This this is so versatile! My daughter and husband make fun of me constantly but have they asked to use it? YES. Cuz they know it’s silly but SO practical! I can hang it from the wall above my head to make a hands-free TV set or movie screen even! Just….. So many situations where I’ve benefited from this. 10/10 do recommend. I’ve used it for my iPhone 6s and also my 7″iPad. It comes with two sizes to hold what you have. I ended up just using the bigger one exclusively because it holds my phone and iPad and i don’t have to change it out. Love love love love love this silly thing.

[NOTE: I didn’t rate Durability because I haven’t had it more than a few hours.]I just received this product and I am exceptionally pleased. This is an extremely versatile tool that has solved many inconveniences I often experience while attempting to use my phone or tablet in awkward situations. – Reclining (couch, bed or hammock) – Reading in a Bath – Cooking – Riding a hoverboard – Painting (subject photo on iPad)I’ve only had this for a few hours, but already consider it to be an indispensable accessory.Although I haven’t tried any other similar products from other manufacturers, I have seen several in stores and read many reviews claiming poor quality materials. This holder appears to be the most sturdy available.Providing separate holders for phone and tablet is an excellent design choice. It’s usually much better to have holders specifically designed for a tablet or phone rather than one that tries to accommodate both. I especially appreciate the magnetic connectors for swapping out holders. The connection is strong, but easy to swap out. It also makes it easier to put over your head or around your waist if you can place the hanger before attaching the phone/tablet holder portion.
