ISPO Winter 07 is around the corner, starting on Feb. 4 and goes until Feb. 7. in Munich/Germany.With an exhibition area of 180,000 sq.m., ispo winter 07 will be the biggest ever in terms of space since this world’s leading specialised sports fair came into existence. 1,970 exhibitors from 48 nations are expected in Munich.
In Hall A2, ispo winter concentrates all innovation forums for the first time. On a joint platform, the winners of the ispo Outdoor Awards, the Runner’s World ispo Awards and European Ski Awards, the new European Boardsports Awards competition as well as the ispo BrandNew Awards and NewBiz show the winning products to the specialised dealers.
The innovation forum is rounded off by the forward-looking project “Wearable Technologiesâ€. This general platform for the advancing integration of high tech into sports products – from the rucksack with solar cells to functional jackets or gloves with integrated MP3 player – had its premiere at the last ispo summer and attracted a high level of interest among the visitors.
Approximately 20 exhibitors will present all facets of the Wearable Electronic market on 250 square meters of expo space in the innovation hall (A2 / booth 414), including iPod-compatible products as well as products for the analysis of body functions during sports, or trademark protection for the textile industry.

Representatives of T-Mobile, Polar, and Atlantik Networxx will discuss how to create genuine added value for customers with the help of combining the sports, fashion and lifestyle with the current trends in the electronics industry, and thus create new sales potential for both industry sectors.
