Read the reviews before I bought so my expectations were high because of them, mindbeast delivers!My main Bud’s are the Sony true wireless Bud’s so my EQ settings are set to them, very little adjust to these. I found these very strong, great headroom, bass if anything is a big strong but nothing to it, but my bass from 65 on my poweramp to 50 and bass is great….. Very punchy! Treble is well balanced too!Overall these Bud’s are a Super great bang for your buck! Buy with confidence you won’t be disappointed!!

I purchased more expensive headphones (ones with multiple drivers) first, and they had absolutely no bass and were super uncomfortable.I can’t speak to their durability/reliability, as I’ve only had them a short time and have hardly used them. But if you want a cheap set of earbuds that produce pretty decent bass, I’d recommend these!

I used to sleep with headphones every night. Falling asleep to music is a lovely thing… I can’t remember why I stopped. Anyway, sleeping with headphones has some specific requirements. For one, the earbuds need to fit comfortably while laying your ear straight on the pillow. Another is that you need the wire to be very durable, because naturally you will roll all over them in your sleep. They also need to be cheap enough that you aren’t heartbroken when they inevitably die.Well, let me tell you, these buds tick all the boxes. Firstly, the two major points of failure for wired headphones—the jack and the controls + mic. As you can see in the pictures, the jack is intelligently designed and is safe from being bent in a way that will cause fraying. These headphones do not have volume controls, but for me this is a good thing. Frayed wires around volume controls sometimes causes ghost inputs where your phone volume gets set to zero or the max. Waking up to music blasting in your ears is quite unpleasant! There is no risk of that here.The cord is round, which seems like a small thing, but actually it’s much harder to fray wires with a round wire. If you’ve had a linguine-shaped cord, you know any kind of rolling friction is likely to twist the cord. This cord is smooth and round, so most rubbing against it will slide over instead. This makes it last a surprisingly long time for the cost. I would choose this over a braided wire.Now you may be thinking, all this is great, but I have no intention of sleeping with headphones. Well, that is why I’m writing this review. I stopping sleeping with music a few years ago. I recently went on a trip and wanted to grab headphones for 8 hour flight. I looked at my shelf, between these headphones and the $200 pair of wireless headphones I had bought a few months ago. I went with these. To hell with the fussiness of Bluetooth and charging your buds. There is no active noise canceling, but it makes a good suction in your ear, which is noise-canceling enough for anyone. The audio is definitely bass heavy. Honestly, I prefer it that way—background noise is generally low-frequency so the extra punchiness makes up for it. Many songs sound nicer bass boosted anyway.In short, don’t waste you money on a more expensive pair. These guys got it all right.

Bought these to replace an old set of Skullcandy buds that shorted out on one channel (after being in service for almost 8 years!). After a couple of hours of listening, I was pleasantly surprised that these perform as well if not even better than my old ones. Deep, rich bass response; crisp, clear highs and mids – absolutely no complaints sound-wise. Noise isolation is pretty good and cord quality/overall build quality seems excellent. Haven’t test the microphone yet. So far I’m very pleased! Not expecting it but will see if these beat out the Skullcandies in longevity! Only issue I had was with the initial shipping: first set I received had clearly been used and was missing a case. Contacted Amazon and received a replacement set within less than 2 days.

The vendor delivered without incidence.HOWEVER, the reason for the three stars: I have returned to purchase another pair because the pair I bought in Oct. 2022 have shorted out. They lasted Four months. Why would I repurchase? My earbuds usually malfunction at the six month mark. It’s always been the left one going out or a problem internally that causes me to start the ” wire wiggle!” These have great sound and I have no interest in doing Any more earbud research.* I just discovered this show called Power and if you know the show, you know it has a jamming soundtrack and I need to hear it the way it was intended to be listened to. I feel these earbuds are worth the price (obviously) even though they didn’t reach the six month mark and I will more than likely repurchase.* I ordered them at 3a.m. today and they are due to arrive same day which is good because I’m binge watching, and Ghost has just killed every damn body and I need to start Season 3!? ? “They say this is a big rich town”…….**UPDATE:The vendor or the company reached out to me and offered a refund! I was Not expecting that. I asked that , instead of a refund, they just send me another pair because I was going to repurchase eventually anyway. They did!Excellent customer service.** I am enjoying Powerbook IV: Force now and my earbuds are Awesome!

Worked great and loved them…The only issue I had is the wire or connection for the mic started to short out and the ear buds stopped working until you turn or twist or push the wire to the mic and connection around…as for durability.. I used these at work where I move constantly and move product and boxes and items. Bought in March of 2021 and they lasted till January of 2023… Lots of sweat and use.. I loved these and might upgrade if they have a newer or better version. Got a pair of Sony’s to replace them and the wire is super thin and the quality of sound just doesn’t seem there.. scary right?? You just can not beat the price and the sound and the heavier gauged wiring and connections and covering on the wiring. The Sony’s I’ll give away to my daughter… She is easier on ear buds.. Great thing with the angled connection. Now if I could get these where the wire at the mic/controller connection would last longer these would be the best on the market for any price… Well I am off to see what else they offer up.. Mindbeasts are tough earbuds and quality sound for so little of price.

I use headphones to watch youtube videos and fall asleep. I am somewhat of a restless sleeper, and usually when I wake up the headphones are still in my ears, the sound quality is decent. I usually bought skullcandy but found them to be irritating, so I switched to these, and am happy with my purchase. For my purposes, they work quite nicely so I recommend them.
