Prosvelcro strap for the back of the head and the chinI started off with a 5 pound weight, ideal for first timecomes in a clear bag for easy storageConsYou may not fully feel the strain on your neck until after you work out, so go easy the first time. There are some comments about this product breaking. I knew any weight I chained onto this, would be carried by my neck, so I started at 5 lbs. Maybe if I go full body builder mode I will go to 10 pounds (keep that in mind if you have never worked your neck out). After you velcro strap the back of your head and chin, loop the chain through any small weight you have. I did squats, while holding the weight (do not want a weight crashing into me, and for bonus resistance, I pulled down on it). This is a good work out that I can do indoors and save the heavy weights for my garage gym. I can keep this kit and my own weight near my desk.tipFollow up your neck work out, with one of those rubber jaw exercisor bits which will burn the excess fat around your chin for a more attractive face.

For the cost I guess it’s fine, it does leave scrap the side of my head a little and the straps feel cheap, i still manage to get a work out in but the material could be better

Already own a sturdy leather head harness but thought would add another more economically priced one to be able to have one purely for neck raises, and one set up ready for cable neck presses (I train at home so have the luxury of not inconveniencing anyone).I chose this one due to the chin strap which I hoped would aid in stopping the harness from being pulled off my head when pressing; and the price.PROS:The harness itself was delivered in its own plastic zip pouch (see pictures) which would be ideal for keeping tidy in anyones gym bag.The packaging states that the weight capacity is 200lbs, if this is correct then everyone, and I mean everyone, will benefit from this piece of equipment, because lets face it, even Eddie Hall and Mike Tyson will never, in good form, rep 200lbs hanging off their neck!Having used it for the first time today it appears sturdy enough for my needs. The material is thick, and stitching seems strong.CONS:To be fair the cons on this are few, and subjective.Perhaps the main is that the D-rings are placed quite high and have no movement. The velcro connection for the back of head could potentially cause problems if using heavy weight as the chin strap design of piece means pressure is applied to the velcro back when raising which could rip open. Easily overcome however by not using chin strap and wearing harness with velcro at front for raises. The chin strap can be easily tucked up into the crown of harness as I discovered when using for presses. My hope that having a harness with chin strap would mean I could perform pressing exercises by attaching to a cable pully sytem without having to use a separate strap held behind my head in order to pin the item to my head and stop it being pulled off was unfortunately shattered. The strap was uncomfortable and impacted the natural movement of the head as the strap is wide (would imagine this would be an issue with raises as well), digging into neck, and despite only using 22.5lb the chin strap ripped open. Admittedly I had not fastened it correctly due to trying to find a more comfortable position that prevented it cutting in, and had to, as stated above, tuck the strap up into the crown and resort to the original method of using a seperate strap held behind my neck and pushing down on chain to secure to my head, which, to be fair due to this being a more slendor design than my leather one, worked better than before, but those D-rings dug into my ears, yet that is an inconvenience which I can put up with.So this review has gone on a little longer than I intended, but to summarise.Despite my cons, this is a great piece of kit, the price (7.99uk pounds) is outstanding, but forget about the chin strap, which is useless if you have a thick neck, small chin, or are using the weight behind body to train the front of neck.Forget about the chin strap and this is a must have if you can get it at a reasonable price.Hope this helps.

Metal rings dig into ear for forward neck flexion, backwards this works great. Haven’t tried lateral flexion yet
