I have a 22 pound Jack Russell short-legged. She actually fits in this very well I do wish the front legs were more to the side instead of directly in front I think this might be better for a little bit longer legged dog but we are okay with it we will keep it

I wasn’t expecting it to be so well made. I saw someone say it was way too big, but it’s perfect for my chunker. He was a bit disturbed by it at first but he seems to enjoy it now. Much needed for our hiking trip we’ll be taking in a few months since he can only keep up with our husky for so long.Update- my bubby loved it. He looked so relaxed on our hikes. I’m glad he was because he broke my back but that’s okay, it was worth it. The backpack area to clip on accessories also came in hand with their water bottle and bag holder. Still do not regret this purchase one bit!

My 11 lb Chihauhau went in the pack immediately! And when he discovered that I was going to walk around with him on my chest he was happy. The pack is sturdy, well built. It was comfortable as the shoulder straps are well padded and wide. This is critical for me as I had a back tumor removed some years ago. The picture I attached is before I raised and tightened the pack. I was able to raise and lower the pack with Henry in it easily! Its perfect for our upcoming Italy travels. I just wish it came in black – better to match some clothing than grey which I never wear.

Dog Carrier Backpack is decently designed. However, I do think it would help if different sizing options were offered. I found that this “one size fits all” didn’t work for my 10 pound chihuahua. He kept sliding around in the backpack…could never really stay stationary while seated in it. Also, the collar area was too high up for him. I think this backpack is better suited for larger sized dogs. I also had issues with the zippers not locking into place when completely zipped up. They kept unzipping to the point where my dog almost fell out. It was probably a manufacturing issue…which sometimes is a “hit or miss” issue. I believe this backpack is a great idea as a pet carrier. The design just has to tweaked a little to tighten up its functionality and pet security. Had to return due to the zippers. I would’ve reordered had I felt confident about the zippers working properly the second time around. In addition, my dog never seemed completely comfortable in it.

Loved it for our 20 lb pug who can’t walk as far as normal in the summer heat. A little heavy, but that was prob the dog and not the backpack 😂

This pet pack works for very short distances; we bought it for helping our dog up and down long flights of stairs to protect her back. We found it easiest to unzip the pack all the way, have her to walk into it and get her paws in the leg holes, then zip it up while she’s standing on the floor; she wiggles too much to try to lift her into it. There is not much structure to the bag, so the dog kind of flops to the side. It might be better for a smaller dog, though. Our dog is toward the upper weight limit.REVISION:I originally rated this product three stars based on the above information. The seller reached out to me and offered a refund since it did not work out as well as hoped for my dog. I increased my rating by one star based on the customer service. The product still needs to be reinforced for dogs at the upper limit of the weight range. More structure is needed to make it more rigid and not so floppy.

This is a very well made pup carrier. My dog weighs 19 lbs and it’s perfect for hikes in the hot weather when the dog gets overheated and doesn’t want to walk anymore 😂😂😂

I’m not sure my pupper likes this, but I love it and he will love being able to go more places with me. He’s 14 pounds, with short legs, so long hikes or even walks can be a challenge. Strollers won’t work on gravel and trails. My husband recommended finding a pack for him. I picked this one because a) it looked like a good size for him, b) it can go front or back, c) it keeps his limbs free, which seems more comfy than shoving him in a bag, and d) it was inexpensive, so if it was a mistake, it was a cheap one. Anyway, he does perfectly and seems comfortable. It’s also comfortable for me. I haven’t tried it on a long hike yet, but being able to go front to back will help if it starts putting too much pressure on my shoulders.Tips – make sure you fully unzip before putting your pupper in it. I didn’t realize both sides unzipped, so at first I was trying to load him in from the top. That doesn’t work. At all. Haha. Also, i cannot imagine this will work for dogs that are much smaller than mine. My boy’s sister is 8 pounds and this is too big for her. I would say this is probably more for 10-20 pounds pups than tiny guys.
