This a very smart idea. I no longer have to carry a speaker with me now when i head to the park with friends. It’s well constructed and the speaker has great volume. There is an easy access front zipper(see pics) to turn on and off the speaker, charge it, or use the headphone jack. Sync’ing it to your phone works just like any other bluetooth device. There are no volume controls on the speaker so you have to use your phone to control the volume. It comes with a micro USB charging cable and a headphone cable. You can directly connect your phone to the speaker through a head jack if you don’t want to use the bluetooth.There is ample room in the cooler. I’ve included a few pictures for scale. It can easily hold a 6 pack of bottles of beer with room for ice.

Highly recommended for 2 reasons, and with explanations of its intended use: 1) My first version of this cooler/speaker combo clearly had an issue with the speaker, but because I bought it last fall, and didn’t use it till this spring, I missed the window of opportunity to return/exchange. Because of that I posted a review of my experience including very poor sound quality. However, much to my incredibly pleasant surprise, I was contacted by the company, WHO HAD ALREADY SHIPPED ME A REPLACEMENT COOLER BEFORE EVEN BEING IN CONTACT WITH ME!! That is incredible service, and something I really appreciated. 2) I have been using the new cooler for about 2 weeks now, and would offer the following observations: now that I have a properly functioning cooler, the speaker sounds great for its size, keeping in mind it has a 3-inch “woofer”. If you are throwing a block party or trying to create musical ambiance at a large and noisy neighborhood pool, or want the ground to thump with excessive bass, this small speaker is not designed for any of those applications, and that is not the intent with the portable size. We have found it to be PERFECT for packing up drinks for the family (yes the cooler is quiet roomy and spacious… Could probably hold 12 cans or bottles with ice, easily) and having it create “private ambiance” at the pool. In other words, at about 1/2 volume, the music quality is very nice and balanced, and gets plenty loud if I want music for 2-4 folks at a busy pool, if that makes sense. It is plenty loud for a smaller applications, like sitting around the pool, hanging at the beach, having a picnic, hanging at park table, or even a canoe trip, when you aren’t trying to share your tunes with the whole neighborhood. If your needs are what this cooler offers by its portable design, I would definitely recommend it.

The best cooler with speaker I have ever bought. The speaker is so loud almost as loud like my UE boom(but the UE boom doesnt even charge my phone) …now I know which cooler to take with me on the beach or on a vacation lol…specially that this is also colapsible. All my friends are jealous on me lol

Haven’t had much chance to use it yet but I like it so far. I bought it mostly to keep my phone cool while charging this summer. Its size is quite ample for stowing a couple beverages and cold snacks. The speakers provide good volume but not necessarily the greatest range or clarity. My one criticism is that I found it difficult to reattach the zipper for the speaker if detached. When charging, I recommend not removing the speaker if possible. All in all, I can’t wait to use it this summer knowing I will not have to worry about overheating warnings on my phone.

I wanted to wait a few months before I did a review to give my honest opinion. I’ve taken this cooler speaker to work with me everyday since it arrived at my doorstep. I mainly use it for a daily work bag cus the speakers in my work truck SUX. Most recently, I took it on a fishing trip so I wouldn’t have to take a cooler and speakers. I figured it would keep our lunches cool. My brother swears it was scaring the fish away but that’s just cus he wasn’t catching anything lol. After these few months, it’s still good as new and I’m looking forward to bringing it to a picnic we’re having on the 4th.

What a great multi use cooler. I was surprised to see you can completely remove the speaker from the cooler itself which is awesome. For car shows I just leave it in my back seat and let a playlist go on for a while.Charge lasts surprisingly long and the speakers are capable of playing LOUD. not to mention the size of the inside which I was able to pack 4 lunches and the dogs lunch too. I’m happy with this purchase. I’ll be using all summer.

The cooler is so awesome! we were so surprised at sound volume and quality! We took it down the River Tubing and put our food in it because we needed a bigger cooler for our alcohol but we take it on our golf cart and put it in our pool with drinks in it, it holds ice well and again the sound rocks! Highly recommend!
