I already own one of these 4 GB Verbatim Clip-IT flash drives. I must say for being only 1 and a half times the size of a quarter they are pretty handy and useful. I bought one of these a few months ago from one of those big box electronic stores in my town and it works great. Just because it is smaller than most other 4 GB flash drives don’t under estimate its power. It is just as powerful as a normal size flash drive. I mainly use these for quick file transfers and operating system installs. Where I work I am a network administrator and am constantly building updated images of operating systems and software to deploy to network workstations and servers. After a while of using a CD/DVD drive to install the operating system I got tired of waiting for 30 to 50 minutes to install it on each workstation or server. I just use these as bootable USB drives and install the operating system off of it in around 15 to 25 minutes depending on if it Windows 7 or Windows Server 2008 R2. Between the one I own and the 5 of these that I purchased at work for use there they work great and they all fit in one USB storage case that would only hold 4 normal size flash drives. The only thing I will point out about these flash drives is that if you do plan on using the clip to clip it on a shirt or pocket it does not flex very far before it will become weak and maybe even break. I have had one Clip-IT clip already break but other than that it did not cause any performance issues and the flash drive still works as good as it did when I purchased it.

This is a great product, verbatim as always served me well, they’re reliable and easy to clip onto a shirt or a small stack of papers. My only negative to these little flash drives is that they are sooooo small, it is easy to lose or wash in the laundry if you’re not very careful or disciplined about noting where they are at any given time! I’ve caught myself a few times taking it out of my pocket or off a shirt just before loading the wash! Also, it’s possible to load these drives into a USB port upside down… if reaching to a port on the back of a pc blindly, check the direction of the contact points first… if it doesn’t load onto the computer, you may have put it in the wrong direction!Highly recommend this product on price per unit and on reliability!

I always carry a pen in my shirt pocket. I thought it would be super convenient to carry a USB drive clipped onto my pocket as well. See, there’s a little ridge on the inside of the clip part that I’m pretty sure is there to keep enough tension on a small stack of paper to keep it all together. I’m sure that works quite well for that purpose, but it prevents one from simply clipping this to an article of clothing, like a shirt pocket or tie (one that looks like a tie bar would be pretty cool).I guess you could modify it and try to cut off/file down the little plastic ridge, but for only 4GB of storage, probably not worth it?

I have the 4GB orange Verbatim Clip-IT flash drive. Bought orange because at the time it was cheapest. I keep it in tucked all the way in, into the largest compartment of my iPhone case, not clipped because there it is less likely to be bumped or snagged when I flip my phone open (or drop it). I have started carrying it with me everywhere this way in my phone case. I exclusively store eclipse files on it for my CSC-200 Intro to Computer Systems class. I have the class twice a week in a computer lab. When in class, I plug this flash drive into the desktop there. When I am at home, I plug the flash drive into my own desktop. Sometimes I plug it into my laptop when I am working in the library or cafe. I am three months into the class and have not run into any issues with the flash drive.

I bought this product to use for client files when I sign over the finished product. I ended up buying about 50 of these, and I have been very happy with them. First, the size is nice since it can slide onto the pocket of a folder and not fall off while not adding much thickness to the folder. I’ve also used these as a paper clip which works nicely. If you are purchasing this to use as a paperclip, i’m assuming you’re bundling at least 3 pages, and you should because any less than that and the Verbatim Clip falls right off. Lastly, this product comes in a range of colors that accommodate a wide array of users. I purchased the black ones, but i’m sure the other colors are made with the same quality as these.Highly recommend.

I lose things. Especially little things like USB drives. So four years ago I bought one of these to clip to my lab notebook. I’ve used it heavily in that time, carrying it from lab to lab to store data from instruments on computers not connected to the network at work. I’ve kept in my wallet for weeks at a time. It’s perfectly flat, so it takes a label easily. I put my name and extension on it, so it can be returned if I drop it. This happened once. Four years later I still have it and it still works. This is my second one.

No idea how fast these are, but that’s not a key factor for me. I like that they are compact and the plug being always exposed makes them easy to just stick into a USB slot. Haven’t had them long enough to comment on reliability, but no problems so far, and for me it’s great value for the money.

I bought this for portability and access. After installing a security program, I noticed this drive outperformed every single other USB 2.0 flash drive I have as far as speed is concerned. Running directly from the PC (not a hub), I was getting 14MB/s where other drives more expensive registered a mere 2-6MB/s. I will be getting more of these guys. For the price, the speed is unbeatable!

I bought these for the office – thought they would be nice to clip to projects / presentations, but the clips are just flimsy plastic pieces with no give to them. I was concerned they would make the company look cheap or tacky so I opted to just give them to employees to use instead.
