During the winters of 2013-14, I was down in bed sick for 4 months each year! In desperation I got ionizers for my home, car, and wore a mask while in public (per my pulmonary specialist recommendation during cold and flu season). Of course, in restaurants etc., a mask was not the answer. Consequently, I have used the AirTamer in restaurants, airplanes, etc. since the autumn of 2014. The AirTamer works! I have not been sick (and so far in this terrible flu season I have avoided the flu!). I highly recommend the AirTamer. When I recently lost my original AirTamer, the seller rushed the device to me. It was appreciated. I will note, however, when I found my original device before using the new device, I found I could not return my recent purchase. The seller says it takes special mailing and mailing it back to the seller cannot be accepted. So, if you purchase it, don’t think you are going to try it and send it back. Nonetheless, I now have two and will use them.

I have allergies that has gotten worse over the years. I have taken allergy test and the result was I was allergic to all the allergy samples except one.I was dubious when purchasing this device but decided to go ahead and after trying it out I am glad I did because it works for me.I have been having problem with running nose and after wearing this device for couple of hours I noticed that my nose started to dry out and I have had easier time breathing and not to mention I have less blowing nose and phlegm to cough out. The device make no sound. You can barely feel the air movement coming from bristle on top of the device.This device is more expensive than competing model because it has rechargeable battery that is supposed to last 150 hrs. before needing recharge.This device is most effective indoor environment. Outdoor…nope I don’t think so.Right now it is winter so I am not bothered by pollens as much but in a few months I will find out how well this device can give me relief from that and I will write another update then.

*UPDATE*. I contacted the seller directly and they immediately responded and apologized for the error. They have shipped the correct product priority mail and I should be receiving it in the next couple of days. I still can’t speak to the function yet but I can say this product is backed by good customer service***Just received this and haven’t actually tried it but wanted to write an initial “box” opening review because what I received isn’t the exact product I ordered. Yes I did order the Airtamer A310 but I ordered it in white to come with a leather case. What I received was the black version in a tin container. For as expensive as this product is, I’d expect to receive the exact product I ordered. Now that being said, those issues are primarily only aesthetic so I will update this review once I actually use it to see if it even seems to work as advertised as I was skeptical to begin with and only purchased it as I am flying in a couple of weeks and can never be too careful with everting that’s going on. So, in other words, I bought really expensive peace of mind. All I can say at this point, not a great start.

I am a Hairstylist and work everyday with this around my neck. Any added protection I can get in these trying times is appreciated.It has no smell, no sound and I never feel anything. The charge lasts me for a few days before I have to re-change it. It has yet to die while I am working.Along with the room purifier this gives me a huge piece of mind while working with the public.When we begin to travel again I will be wearing this for every flight I take.

When I received the product today ( delivery time was excellent) and look at the product, it looks like a sturdy equipment and have enough power to use right away.I need to buy this because I am working in an office and people will talk close to me and will touch my personal stuff, so I would hope that this product will give me peace of mind as we are facing the covid 19 scare. I am also attending church and actually i am a cantor, i am singing at an enclosed isolated area ( in the video room) and i have to remove my mask so i can sing better.. sometimes people will just enter without mw wearing the mask and i am scared for my dear life.The product is very light and looks like you’re only wearing a necklace.I will return to this post to comment some more but at first glance, this product rocks! 👍👍

The Air Tamer was advertised as the neck cord could be shortened. It can not be adjusted. I wrote to the company and did not get a response. I like the air tamer very much but the cord is too long so I have to take it off often.

The A302 model, which used replaceable lithium batteries, died after 3 months.The instruction manual has very small print and required use of a magnifying glass to read.I used an air Ion tester to verify that the unit was working – it was. Instead of replaceable batteries, this unit needs to be charged, which takes 2-3 hours. The instruction manual states the A310 should run for 150 hours between charges. Cautiously optimistic about this device.

Portable and handy, perfect for traveling especially inside an aircraft. Expensive but I think well worth the money. Haven’t had any allergic attack while using it, and I have an auto immune disorder so this is an added layer of protection, because any allergen or virus can trigger a flare up for me.

Originally had issues with mine, but Stephanie helped me out and was even responding to my inquiries during her time off. Not many sellers are keen on responding back during their time off once they already have your money.I thought their claim of “being worn by the head of states” was an exaggeration until I saw the President of the Philippines wearing one. There are many other similar products that are on the cheaper side but will not be built with the same premium materials and will be mostly built out of plastic.Although I initially had issues, My problems were solved easily without any hassle and I’m happy this kind of company is what I’m confident to recommend to my friends and family!

I thought this airtamer would help against dustmites & also against viruses/bacteria etc. I used it in flight to India & it did absolutely nothing. My nose did not clear up & throughout my trip in India I was using this but I think it is useless or perhaps it was defective. Did not help me at night and I feel it was a waste of money.

The Air tamer ionizers are excellent devices. I purchased my first Air Tamer A302 after getting sick from flying into Atlanta airport to go to Cancer Treatment Centers of America. Because the chemotherapy has impaired my immune system, I can easily get sick and end up in the hospital. You can wipe off seats, trays, and window shades on a plane, but if someone sneezes, bacteria and viruses can hang in the air for over 15 minutes. I need some kind of protection for the air I breathe and wearing a mask all of the time can get hot and umcomfortable. After purchasing an Air tamer (the model with the batteries and the scratchy cord) I never got sick again flying into the Atlanta airport!! And that is saying something, as it is the busiest airport in the U.S. as well as being an international airport – so just full of viruses and bacteria. I wear my air tamer whenever I have to go aroung people- such as shopping at Publix. It has kept me safe from the flue and bronchitus since I began wearing it. It has also really helped with the constant pollen in Saint Petersburg FL. which was an unexpected benefit. (I have also purchased stand alone negative ion generators for my home, and have a small one for inside of my car- they work great and I would highly recommend them for any cancer patient as well as healthy people. ) I was hesitant to purchase this model as it recharges on a USB. I was accustomed to always carrying spare batteries in my purse, and if the batteries died I could easily replace them no matter where I was. The A310 is not like a cell phone, where you have an image reflecting the available charge- so I felt a little uncomfortable having an airt tamer that could quit on me in the middle of a store or at a day in the infusion center. Well, after wearing this new one for a month, I can say it really does hold a charge for 150 hours. The cord is so soft and is never scratchy like the A302 model. I had 2 of the A 302 models for 4 years and the emitters finally wore down to a little nub! The A310 has a long emitter- so I think it should last even longer. I am very pleased with this model, and it is well worth the exspense. The nurses at the infuion center are always having me explain my Air Tamer to other cancer patients. It has been an important part of my cancer treatment- that is keeping me safe from other people’s germs when my white blood count is 1.0 and 2.0 and my neutrophil count is 700. I wish all chemotherapy patients knew about these devices and I would hope that they would work as well to protect them as it has for me.

I bought 3 Air tamers, my Daughter is a Public School Teacher and many of her cohorts asked what it was since she was one of the few totally healthy teachers this past Winter, this was important since she has asthma and it kept bugs and smelly essential oils from overwhelming her. My wife has Asthma and this is the first time she could get her nails done without reacting to the smell of the nail polish.

Haven’t really tried the product yet, bought on the recommendation of a friend who said it works on his allergies. But disappointed that it came in a silver metal tin instead of black leather case.
