With hotels increasingly allowing pets in the rooms, I decided to buy this for those travel situations that my dust, pet, and perfume allergies make miserable (even rental car air ‘fresheners’ give me headaches). I’ve been using it in my bedroom, along with a larger air filter, and it’s been running nice and quiet, even on it’s higher setting. I finally got to test it ‘in the wild’ over the holidays. Even in a very large room, my symptoms were dramatically reduced. I kept it next to my airbed (because, allergies) and woke up almost symptom-free. The next night, I turned it off and the symptoms returned. This is my first time trying a personal air-purifier (I buy regular ones for my rooms) so, I can’t speak to value-for-money or whether this one is any more effective than others. But, I am certainly glad to have it!

Sigh! What a disappointment that this portable purifier stopped working after 2 months of usage. Won’t recommend as it is not possible to find a service center out of US and Canada although warranty is 3 years.

Wry overpriced for a very poorly made product. It took ages to arrive and then turned up with the wrong plug. The cover you need to remove to put the filters in feels flimsy and I’ve had to put a rubber band around to hold it in place. Really poor for a brand new product that is hugely overpriced. The plus goes in the bottom and in theory is meant to sit flush. But has a forced pointed end that means you can’t stand the unit up while plugged in. Instructions are basic and not at all clear, plus don’t explain why there’s a weird half buckle strap and a tiny screwdriver in the box. I really wanted to like this, but it feels like something you could buy at a cheap import market stall in the 80’s, not a useful expensive portable air purifier in 2022. As this one took so long to arrive I bought a couple of other can/ cup holder sized portable ones and they are a fraction of the price and made much better. Shop around, this ain’t it and the price reflects the marketing not the product

I bought this because it was on FSA approved list, so could use health card to pay for it. Because it is small, I didn’t expect a lot from it. I have dust allergies and am constantly stuffed up or on allergy pills. I bought 2, one for small living room and 1 for bedroom. After a week I noticed I was stuffed up in my apartment. I literally plugged them in and forgot about them. Super quiet and left on continuous run. They must be working because at home I am not having issues where a work I am.

I carried it when I had to travel by train and stay in hotel for medical follow up. It is very convenient to carry, I used it in the train and in hotel. It did make the air around me more pleasant to breath in. I purchased it because the product description stated it was medically graded.

So, I have a cigar once in a while in my Range Rover. It really doesn’t do much for smoke. So, really don’t know if it works at all. Also, how about some other colors, like black. The instructions were almost illegible, due to English was someone’s 5th language. Plus, what is the extra strap for? Is it supposed to go around the strap that is already there? Alos, the instructions say to lay it flat, so why would you use the extra strap for hang it from something, except storage.

I was quite pleased with this when I first got it, it was easily portable, the battery lasted hours and it was fairly quiet. So this was my go to when traveling for periods where I wanted a bit of extra air purifying. But at less than 6 months old it stopped working on the 3rd trip I took it on. Looking through the reviews it seems others have also had them stop working after a few months. Though the one difference from my experience and others is when I reached out to the company I had no issues with getting a free replacement unit. I just e-mailed customer service, someone responded in less than 24 hours and I had a new one in less than a week. Time will tell if this one will last longer than the first but there is a warranty (it says 3 years on the box) and they do seem to honor it.

While not as expensive as some air purifiers, this is certainly not a cheap option. Style wise, it is lovely & chic for what it is.That said, having received the unit, and looking it over, it doesn’t feel as sturdy as I’d hoped coming from Westinghouse. Worse, when I started reading the instructions, it informs you not to return the item to a store, but rather to contact customer care. Why is this an issue? Because while the Westinghouse website is listed, that’s completely undermined by the fact that if you have questions or concerns, you should contact a support person who is using a random gmail address. Surely if it’s a Westinghouse product, one would contact them? I bought this because it was recommended, not actually realising that it didn’t come direct from the manufacture, but a third party. That wouldn’t have typically bothered me, save for the fact that the customer care situation seems rather strange/shady, too.It mentions being great for travel, hotel rooms & large rooms… I don’t know where these people are staying, but my typical hotel room is at least 450+ sq. I opened the package to see that this is intended to cover all of 100 sq feet. What?! I didn’t expect it to give extraordinary coverage, but if it is being marketed for hotels 100 sq feet should be made extremely clear from the start! That’s the size of my walk-in closet!I could have sworn it had a higher number listed on Amazon, but now I don’t see it to save my life. All in all, I’m pretty disappointed & I believe it will be going back. I have an uncomfortable feeling, especially when I’m seeing similar Westinghouse products (but not exact) that retail for $100 more. I don’t mean to be a skeptic, but I don’t want anyone to buy expecting one thing & then discovering everything I did.

I bring this portable air purifier to use in hotels whenever I travel during the pandemic. It does seem a little bulky as it weighs about 2 pounds, but I could sleep better without worrying about the dirty air filters inside the hotel room.
