As a former golfer getting my wife into golf during this pandemic, I found this smart insole comforting and intuitive. My wife also found this helpful. The app is easy-to-use. Just using the QR code reader gets you to the app download, and it’s a breeze from there. The Salted Golf app is easy on the eyes in terms of interface. The overlay feature is fantastic for me as a regular golfer. Being able to compare my posture and swing with a pro golfer really helps me out.We also found use for the insole to correct our squat posture as it reads the pressure points of the insoles. I feel that it will be useful for various exercise and activities. The overall feel of the insoles is really comfortable, as you could never guess that such a technology is even inside the insole when you wear them.I was worried that the insole would not fit my size, but there was a little headroom at the top of the insole to cut off so there is some flexibility in size.

In short: enthusiastic user here who wishes there would be a complete user manual to prevent stumbling around the app at the beginning. Some time ago I took a golf lesson on a pressure-mat and loved the data feedback on weight distribution. Since my golf club does not own a pressure-mat and I can’t afford it (around USD 4K) I went looking for an alternative and came across these insoles. And downloaded the accompanying golf app. What is good:1. quality of the insoles, they appear well made and sturdy2. quality of the pressure data coming from the insoles. There are 4 sensors per insole (I think) which provide good pressure feedback data for my (golf) needs.3. The review and editing functions of the app video swing analysis. Well thought out and meets my requirements more than enough.4. Many other aspects of the app. It is overall a good quality app with lots of functions. What could be better:1. First and foremost; not enough info for the first-time user. No comprehensive user manual. It took me a while before I could find my way around the app. The app has quite a number of functions, many of which are decent to good. Salted has some good video’s on youtube but also there not enough basic introductory info on all app functions. Note: Salted has 2 accounts on youtube, make sure you go to their most recent account.2. The insoles discharge themselves surprisingly quickly if you don’t turn them off through the app. There is no physical off/on button on them so they keep broadcasting their bluetooth signal until they run out of power. Discharge occurs within a day which to my mind is quick.3. Some functions on the app could perhaps have better English translation but that is a small quibble.4. At the time of this writing the app (version 1.22.16) on the iphone has a bug when using the function ‘Practice your Swing’/practice mode ‘real-time’. The app then stops working.

I am into golf compulsively. A lot assiduously study towards golf emphasize importance of physical improvement specifically on flexibility, balance and stability for strength and power. Golf biomechanics has been investigated scientifically over decades to identify the vital components and clinical based research shows the importance of balance including weight shift. Generating club speed is what you want and the rejoinder for this always comes back to balance.Salted smart insole is the resolution to figure out the fallacy of your golf swing. Every swing problem seen in your shots can not be relied on your thoughts for the great next shot. It was truly a game changer for me. If you are the person who wants to get objective measures upon your swing. This salted smart insole will be a game changer for you. Highly recommended.

My golf swing coach had me utilize his expensive golf pressure mat to work on weight transition. It’s an aspect that is critical to a good swing. Happy to report that the Salted insole has given me the basics of the pressure mat but in a much more cost friendly package. Does it lose bluetooth connection sometimes? Yes but not too often and it’s easy to quickly reestablish it. Reached out to their customer service because I needed more instructions in English and they quickly responded with plenty of videos in English which helped a lot.

Quite a good product. For the cost of a lesson you will have a product that allows you to work on swing regularly. Upon use I immediately found errors in my balance resulting in over draw or over fade. Admittedly you have to have a basic understanding of balance and golf but if so definitely worth it. App is surprising powerful as well with video overlay synced with balance graphics. Tied My best round after two uses.

Finally, a training aid that works! The pressure points do not lie! This product is well made and serves the purpose it was made for. I’ve had no connectivity issues as I’ve read in other reviews as well. Really has helped me understand where my pressure needs to be in my feet throughout the entire golf swing. When first trying these out I found I was always going into impact and finishing on my tippy-toes which caused pushes, shanks & hooks. Salted Insoles help me “Feel” the correct pressure at different points during my swing so I could eventually make solid contact at impact. I haven’t found another aid that helps you “feel” what your lower body should be doing through the swing. Since using these I’ve straightened out my drives (used to push and slice), compressed my iron shots (used to be fat shots), and even improved my chipping and putting (yep, there are pressure signatures for these shots too!!). I’ve discovered that every successful shot has a corresponding pressure point signature. I’ve been able to find my signatures with these insoles during practice, throughout the entire bag, and just mimic that feeling on the course. I’ve shaved about 5-8 stokes off of my game with these things (I’m a 15 handicapper). I feel like these will help me move towards the single digits in the seasons to come. Wish I would have found these a long time ago.
