Polaroid is known for their retro camera that processes images instantly. What is more instant than reality? With this i mind, the company has teamed up with RealD for some premium 3D eyewear. It must be noted that Polaroid has made quite the name for itself in the world of sunglasses, so this comes as little surprise.
The RealD-certified Polaroid Premium 3D eyewear will begin their world takeover at movie theaters, where will they will be handed out during those fancypants 3D movies you like so much. Before long, the company indicates, they will be sold for home use as usable televisions have begun making promising inroads.
There is no word on price but with “premium” in the name one would assume they’d be wallet-busting.
