Rapsodo is (one of) the most affordable golf launcher on the market right now. At such low price point, I was quite skeptical whether this little box can perform as promised.Boy. I was really glad that I gave it a try! I set it up in my back yard with a net. It’s quite accurate (compared to numbers I get at professional golf fitting shops) and provides me all the critical performance numbers (smash factor, club speed, carry, etc). It’s a power house in a compact and affordable package. The battery life is also quite impressive.I also like it uses front camera of my iPhone or iPad to record my swings. Super helpful for understanding my problems and progresses! A must have tool for anyone who practices golf with a popup net!

Unit was very easy to set up and use. Provides instant feedback for each shot or the entire session. Miss hit shots can be deleted to make the session data more accurate. Very helpful on the off-season to see how subtle changes in your swing affect dispersion as well as distance for each club. Very useful tool.

The Rapsodo is easy to set up, the slowest part was downloading the app. It picked up the very first swing. I have used it on the range several times and in my backyard with a net several times. The feedback is fantastic and hitting into the net is as accurate as on the range. Using the MLM provides an instant feedback loop which is really useful when trying to dial in your swing. I have learned that my swing speed is not as fast as I though and my distances have been more erratic than I thought. The Rapsodo gives me data I can’t get with the naked eye, and in the end it is going to help me dial in my game. For reference I am a 9 handicap with a driver swing speed of 95-100. I now know I need to focus on some swing speed work, as well as dialing in my distances with each club. Really enjoying the feedback, even if it makes me realize I am not as good as I thought I was.

The problem with that for me was I got use to hitting the ball to easily… so as you can imagine on the course, everything was short… I happy to report just after a few session from home the very next time I played I saw a big difference. I started hitting greens again and produced a couple drives I haven’t seen in a long time.Another thing I found interesting was with regards to ball speed with different balls… I hate when people leave golf balls on the golf course… cause you see what you think is your ball, then one losing track where there ball is etc… so I happen to have a nice variety of balls to use. And what I found is with the same club speed, different balls produce different ball speeds. With the playback, you can clearly see the quality of the ball strike. It’s nice to see what ball works better for me..

Once I had downloaded the app and connected to the device it worked immediately. I found it extremely easy to use, and missed only 2 shots in my first three sessions, both of which were semi-shanks by me that I wouldn’t want in the dataset anyway. Carry distances quoted were close to those I use on the course, so I believe it to be accurate. I will now use the device to practice half and three-quarter shots with my wedges so that I can control my distances better.As others have stated, the display is not easy to read in sunlight while you are standing several feet from it, but on a quiet range I had the Rapsodo calling out the details so I didn’t need to refer to the screen until I was changing clubs.

Lots of great features. This device does provide instant feedback and you do get clear traceable understanding of your golf shots.Shot tracer and video feedback is great and the data following a practice session very valuable especially in terms of club gapping. Be able to see your shot library and related data after a practice session is excellent.It will get about 95% of your shots from a basket of 100 balls.My only gripe would be on occasions it does short change you on the yardage of long shots. Saying that, I would recommend this device as a great training aid and overall very good launch monitor for the price.

I’m a newer golfer trying to get better, and the Rapsodo has really helped out my game – viewing my swing and assessing what I’m doing wrong has been a huge help. The combines are awesome, and I love that I can use it at home, hitting into a net.One thing I’d hope they add to the app in the future is Apple Watch integration – it would be awesome to have the basic stats (distance, speed, launch angle) appear on my watch after every shot so that I don’t have to be so fixated on my phone while swinging.Great product, super accurate, and highly recommended – great job Rapsodo!

Great product so far!Been looking for a launch monitor for a while and kept comparing them online, in the end went for this one as it seemed to have the most features, recording your swing and shot tracing being the main one for me.It also helps you work out your normal distances and shot pattern which will help a lot when playing on the golf course.The MLM picks up most swings and is relatively easy to set up.It has definitely made going to the range more engaging and feels like an improvement to regular practice.Haven’t tried it in net mode yet but they release new updates regularly so I’m sure it will be fine for that.

Most of us are not in the market for a $20k launch monitor that the pros are using. Given the much smaller price tag, the value is definitely there for the Rapsodo. The MLM serves it’s purpose for at home (in a net) practice, as well as driving range sessions. I look forward to some additional features in the mobile app, such as customizing specific clubs – as to compare effectiveness of two different drivers OR two different adapter settings on a driver. There’s plenty of ways to work around it for now, so I’m thrilled with my purchase.

I’ve had this set up in my garage for a couple of weeks during the rainy season. Initially, I was getting some bad readings or no readings. However, I determined that the area I was hitting in wasn’t sufficiently lit. Once I corrected that it worked quite fine. I get fairly accurate readings now as compared to the driving range simulator near me. Although the battery life for the unit is quite good, I have noticed that it drains my iPhone battery fairly quickly. However, that may be more of a problem with my iPhone than the unit itself.

Just received my Rapsodo today and it’s perfect for what I needed as a beginner. Practicing hitting a ball in a net in the backyard is okay but you never really know how far or more importantly how accurate! Within minutes I downloaded the app needed, charged the unit for an hour, went outside and I was up and running in minutes. Each stroke gave me exactly what I as looking for: Carry Yards, Total Yards, Smash, Launch Direction. Know as I practice I know the carry, the total, how well did I hit the ball, and was it down the middle! You can also get averages of each session, video, etc. So much to offer. Enjoy!

I’ve had this launch monitor for just under a year and am really impressed. It gives you all the key metrics you need to improve your game, especially if you are a mid-to-high handicapper or just getting started. Set up was a breeze (I have an iPhone 13) and it only took me 10 minutes to get set up my first time. I love the shot tracing feature in addition to the distance / speed stats. I’m looking forward to trying out their new MLM2PRO version, but for the price this little device can’t be beat. I’ve already been able to adjust my game as a result – for example, I figured out that I hit my 6, 5, and 4 irons the same distance, so I’ve replaced my 5 and 4 with hybrids that give me better gapping. Highly recommend.

I wasn’t sure what to expect from this monitor as I’ve never used anything like it but I was pleasantly surprised with how easy it was to set up and the overall performance of it. It is really nice to see some stats to go along with my range session. It helped me dial in my yardages on a recent trip to Payne’s Valley! It did stop detecting shots when the sun started to set but that is to be expected. I would definitely recommend this monitor to anyone looking to become more consistent and would purchase again myself!
