Blacksocks was founded in 1999 by Marcel Roth and Samy Liechti, and is an online retailer of socks. Blacksocks is best known in the technology world for creating their “Smart Socks”, which uses an RFID tag to ensure that the sock is properly matched to it’s pair after the socks are seperated for washing.
