Other features of the Chorus include custom-tuned off-ear acoustics that allow you to hear the biggest moments and tiniest details in virtual reality. The open-back audio drivers create a huge sound stage for the virtual world to flow into your ears, while still allowing you to hear the real world around you.

I think these are great! I rarely play VR on my PC and when I do I use Airlink so the lack of data passthrough isn’t much of an issue for me. My advice would be if you use a link cable, maybe don’t get it, and if you don’t use a link cable, I think it’s a good buy.

Way better for me than in-earphones which have to be inserted & removed every time I take the headset off.Ambient sound spillage is not an issue as I use the Quest 2 without anyone else in the room, besides my dogs.

I’m really impressed. I did not expect these speakers to sound as good as they do. The audio is robust, the volume is good and the comfort is excellent, seeing as they don’t actually touch you at all. This last bit is a big perk for me since my earlobes and canals get very sore while wearing headphones or earbuds. The only pairs I have that are comfortable are these and my “over-the-ear” Sennheisers where the cushions don’t touch my ears at all. Probably one of the best Quest2 Accessories to be had right now.

Playing beat saber I literally can’t hear the vocals or anything due to the 20db boost to the bass. It’s just a muddy mess. It sounds louder than the built in speakers and without vibrating your temples, but the audio quality is so bad as to make rhythm games like beat saber HARDER because all you hear are sound effects and the kick drum but nothing else, removing audio cues from your play that would help you stay in time.I’ve searched all settings and there is no way to adjust EQ, but even reducing bass in software would be half a fix. They should have used a flatter profile like the Reverb G2 and Valve Index speakers.

The audio quality leaves a lot to be desired, but the sound isolation is actually very good and they definitely get the job done.I already use the Elite Strap w/ Extended Battery, which doesn’t support the link cable either, so I’m not losing anything with using these. The USB-C passthrough works as expected, but is a little jank to be honest. Make sure you plug these in, in the correct order. Headphones into the headset, strap battery pack into the headphones, then plug the charger into the back of the elite strap. Otherwise, they just won’t charge.Once it’s setup correctly though, they work great and I rarely have any issues. If they made a $200 version with improved audio, I would buy it in a heartbeat.

I’m a beat sabre player… I only play beat sabre. And they are light, fit well, they hover over the ears and make the music sound better. They are not 500 dollar Sony’s headphones. They are 120 dollar ok quality floating speakers. If you want max sound quality get real headphones. People expect a bit too much here. I do understand how people can be pissed that there is no data passthrough but for me… whatever… I beat sabre

I have been looking forward to improving my Quest 2 audio since I got it, but this thing was a huge disappointment. I didn’t mind paying the ridiculous price because I consider myself an audiophile and I knew the Index speakers had audiophiles very happy. The Chorus was suppose to be the same grade of audio.*** Right out of the box, the left and right channels are WIRED BACKWARDS. *** I work in A/V and there is no possible way for the user to get this wrong. It’s internally wired backwards. Audio for the left side comes out of the right side and vice versa. This is the biggest error you could make with headphones, Logitech. On top of that the ‘tuning’ they did was purely for music. Action sounds like a muddy mess. Going from the quest 2 integrated audio to the Chorus feels like putting cotton balls in your ears. The immersiveness of the audio (the feeling that the sound is coming from the room instead of the speakers) is much, much better with the stock audio. I’m half expecting them to be wired out of phase as well, because everything feels like its coming out of your head instead of the room.I have been buying logitech since the 90s, and this is the worst product I’ve ever seen by them. Do not buy this product, at least until this first wave of out of production and they fix it.

100$ of pure e-waste.The good:- Build Quality is solid- Sits very well on Elite Strap- Good sound profile- No need to charge them- Plug & PlayThe bad:Literally every other aspect of this product.- Liftlower to muteunmute screws up the sound sometimes- LeftRight channel sometimes get switched- Passthrough charging isnt really charging when using the device- Overall time of playing while using the headphones is ±2h, no matter how many batteries you have. the Quest battery dies first.- On high pitch there is crackling sound coming from the device.- Logitech customer support is nonexistent for this device (been 2 weeks since i opened a ticket)Currently i put the headphones back in their box as they are impossible to use for my use case (unless you dont play more than 2h at a time)In retrospect, i wish i havent got them in the first place. Waste of money.

This is so close to being a perfect audio solution for the quest 2, but there’s on fatal flaw. It installs incredibly easy, legit makes your Quest look and perform like a higher end product than it is (in standalone situations), awesome off ear design, pretty good audio quality (amazing compared to stock). But there’s one HUGE deal breaker for me. It connects through USB instead of the headphone jack (WHY?!) and only offers power passthrough, no data. If you use your quest for development or PCVR w/ Link, you straight up have to remove them which isn’t a large hassle, but there goes audio solution you just payed for in 75% of use case scenarios (in my case). If you only use your Quest for standalone, these are a must buy. Otherwise think long and hard about the limits of these taking up your only usb slot and only providing power passthrough.

I really like this idea, and i will still use the chorus, but i wish the sound quality was better. I like my music loud when i am beating boxes in beat saber and this has too much distorted bass. I feel like i have gone from really tinny music to overdone bass. There is no way to tune the audio. Is it better than the original sound? Yes and it doesn’t bug my husband when i am playing.Hopefully they improve the quality.

It only fits with the default strap and the pass through port doesn’t allow enough power to charge while using the headset.
