Affectiva is a company that understands the importance of emotion in our lives, and recognises the fact that in an increasingly technological world, emotion sometimes gets lost. Their aim is to digitize emotion. Affectiva made its debut into the wearable tech market with their Q Sensor wristband that monitors stress levels. Affectiva was founded in 2009 by Rana el Kaliouby and Rosalind W. Picard, and is currently based in Massachusetts.
