I bought this for Burning Man. We were out on the playa a week before the event, doing construction in constant whiteout conditions (yes guys… Dustcapolypse DID happened. Just not during the burn). While doing construction, I pretty much wore this mask religiously. I later switched to a regular bandana, because it was screenprinted with the logo of our art project.Pros:-This dust-mask works. I wasn’t breathing in dust despite being out on the playa for constant wind and dust-storms.-It fits. You need to adjust the nose, but I never had any trouble with it not fitting.-It looks badass. The little gas-mask nozzles drew lots of compliments.Cons:-My doubled up regular bandana worked just as well for dust.-It’s hot compared to wearing a regular bandana-It’s more awkward to slip on and off. With my bandana, I had it tied around my neck, and would pull it on or off depending on the conditions. This dust-mask is secured with velcro and some sort of metal-moldable nose grip. When it’s not on, it kind of hangs awkwardly around your neck because the inner mask portion is so stiff. Usually when you pull it on, you have to re-velcro it to make sure it’s secure on your nose.So basically it works, but in my opinion, it’s not worth spending 30 bucks on when a normal bandana works just as well.

Overall I like this mask for riding behind another ATV. It blocks the dust nicely. I did have some issues adjusting it to my face and finding a happy medium with my goggles. Once I found that “sweet spot” it was really comfortable. Another drawback is if you put it on too earlier (such as you are waiting for the other riders to get ready before hitting the trail and they’re taking their sweet time…) it can get stuffy/hot. Once on the trail and there is airflow it is quite comfortable and I didn’t feel hot/stuff. I was very thankful I had this for the ATV ride this past weekend as it saved me from a face full of dust and the not-so-fun effects of breathing dust.

I have ridden off road motorcycles for many years. This year I purchased a side by side, utility vehicle. The first time out on it I found that it kicked up a lot more dust than my motorcycles. After a day of riding in my side by side I found my sinuses plugged with dust. Not a real comfortable situation.I saw this mask and decided to give it a try. The first mask that I ordered proved to be too small, so I ordered this one thinking that the bandana would make it more comfortable. And it does. This mask works great. I used it this weekend and after riding down the trail with it and then taking it off I could smell the difference. This mask filters som many of the particles that the normal smells stood out as soon as I took the mask off.I didn’t give the mask 5 stars because the bandana is a bit small for a full size man. If it were just a bit bigger it would be perfect.

My yard has lots of big trees, so I get LOTS of leaves. Too many leaves. So, I bought a lawn vacuum to suck up and mulch the leaves. The problem with that is that it creates a lot of nasty leaf dust and particulate, which leads to sinus infections. So…I needed to figure something out. Cheap Home Depot dust masks weren’t really doing the trick, so I read reviews and did research and hemmed and haw’d about which dust mask I should try that might work for what I needed it for. I finally went out on a limb and picked this one, and I really like it. No cartridges to deal with, no elastic bands around my face, etc. etc. This wraps around and attaches with velcro in the back. It keeps the dust out and has the vents that help let the moisture out so you don’t feel like you’re suffocating the whole time you’re wearing it. I’ve used it several times now, and gave it a good hand washing and it’s pretty much perfect for what I need it for. I bought a second one for my wife to use when she helps out in the yard with all the leaves as well. So, for what I use it for, it’s great.

I was looking for alternatives to a regular dust mask due to the fact that that I have a beard. I bought this after doing some research. I needed a dust mask that would not smash down my beard but could protect it as well. I’ve been using this for about 3 weeks, a few days a week, worn for 2-3 hrs at a time mainly to sand joint topping/smooth set walls. Basically fine white powder dust. I’ll start off by saying that I know this wasn’t designed for this, but it does the job in my case. It doesn’t make a complete seal, slides down your face from time to time, and makes you sweat quite a bit. On the plus side, with good ventalation the cons become almost irrelevent. All in all, it works good for me and I a happy with my purchase. People are constantly asking about it. I mean come on, it looks bad ass and works! Im buying another for my B.O.B. and another one for riding.

Pretty good mask. I used it at Burning Man and got compliments on how cool it looked. It can become a little uncomfortable on your nose after a few hours and fit a little big since I have a small face. However, it did really well in the dust storms and I didn’t have problems with my lungs or coughing. It also fit well under my ski googles and it was nice that it covered down my chest. The Velcro on the back was not ideal. It was constantly getting caught on my hair and would slip down causing the mask to be loose. They could improve this by having a tie or snap closure. Overall, though, it did its job. I was on playa for eleven days and dealt with white outs, construction, deconstruction, etc. I did switch to a regular bandanna a few days in due to comfort, but started having problems with the dust and switched back.

These bandana / dust masks were a great savior on our recent desert trip. Following the leader can have a big consequence: lots of dust! These bandanas solved that problem! They fit great under a full faced helmet and really cut down the dust that was inhaled! I bought several for our group of riders and everyone loved them.

The ATV Tek Dust Mask is the best. This is the second one I have owned, the first one I accidently left in the bed of my truck and it blew out. The mask keeps all the dust out of my lungs when I ride my ATV off road and yet doesn’t seem to restrict my breathing. Fit is perfect and it goes on and off in seconds. It fits under my helmet and doesn’t interfere with my eye glasses.

I bought this for mowing the lawn – I have horrific allergies, and I have a coupe acres to mow. Today was the first use. I’ll say that I’m still absolutely hating life right now due to allergy symptoms, but I was out about 4x as long as I was last time without it with the same results. It’s nice that it covers the whole face and down the neck – I’m sunburned on my legs and arms, but my face is fine. I’ve had to wear the N85 masks before frequently, and I can’t wait to get those things off after 10 minutes. I wore this for 2 hours today and was surprised that it wasn’t hotter, especially being black. It also never built up any sweat inside – it was still basically dry when I took it off. I’m going to do a little more experimenting and try one run with an N85 mask and goggles and see if that makes much difference; if so I’ll report back. The fit was good – you put it on and bend the nose bridge to fit; I must have a large-is head as the velcro was about right in the middle when I secured it. It stayed in place well – I didn’t have to touch it once in the 2 hours. Overall I think it’s well made, and would be awesome for ATVing; mowing is just MUCH dirtier and worse.

Product seemed great used it once and it fell apart, the respirator fell out and i could not find one of the pieces. Looks great but it’s useless now that the piece is missing. Wasted 40$, could not see any link to contact seller afterwards.

I think these would be a good product at half the price, but for $43.58CDN they should be a higher quality than they are. I’ll keep them because we need dust masks for the bike, but I wouldn’t pay that price again for them.

The only problem is that it makes me look like a gang member or a Palestinian when i mow my grass. Should come with a bucket of rocks to throw.

Product received as listed. It’s does the job. However not all dust is eliminated if you have a big nose. I found that if worn for a long period of time, the bridge of your nose could get tender even though there is a rubber stopper for the nose piece.I like the Velcro tie and the easy clean up of the dust mask. Just take off the vents and hand wash and air dry. Good as new.

It is big for my face. I think these are made for a larger face. The material that loops around your ear does not have an adjustment to tighten the bandana. That would have helped. But I guess for $12 you get what you pay for.

I bought for my husband to use while mowing grass he didn’t really like felt he looked like a bank robber lol but my grandson loves it for yard work and adds filters to use as covid mask as well

I’ve been looking for a dust mask, that also covers the neck.I thought this was it.However, this mask is extremely uncomfortable, and the metal nose piece which I thought would be very good is actually not good at all. It may be the shape of the nose piece, idk, but the way it fits is just not what I was expecting. Also doesn’t fit the face good in general (I have a Mediterranean face)The thing that most bothers me is that this was $40 and due to my location I can’t easily get a return without losing more money. The velcro going on the back flaps of the bandana aren’t bad, but the mask and dust protection itself is simply too uncomfortable to wear. The price is is the main problem though, after some research, I’ve found I can get a regular dust mask AND a bandana AND velcro strips for HALF as much of what this cost.I thought I was paying for quality, but that clearly wasn’t the case.

It is a little difficult to get correctly positioned but once in place works wonderful

This one seems better that the old version because of the ear straps. It’s fully adjustable and the nose bender is much more beefy. Will test on trail soon
